Time for a voice test at stupid o'clock
....So I dunno what the deal with this whole place here is, but you picking ol' Weinerman here out of everyone else is preetty bruce, I'll give you that much. Not that I had any doubts, really.
If anything I'll be able to make sure Cunningham doesn't get himself into too much trouble. Ye-eaahhp. Sure am gonna....supervise. Totally.

[You know what Randy's doing right now? RUNNING UP TO HIS BEST BRO IN THE WHOLE WORLD AND GIVING HIM A GIANT HUG, IS WHAT HE'S DOING. A GIANT MANLY HUG.]
Where the honkin' juice have you BEEN, man?! Do you KNOW how long I've been trying to find you here? I was starting to worry that I'd NEVER see you again, and you know wonk that would've been?
The wonkest thing since wonk.
But this? This is so bruce, IT'S BRUCE WITH CHEESE ON TOP!
no subject
Where've I BEEN? Well I could ask you the same thing dude, but I've been stuck up in this chick's head I guess!
[Starting just recently anyway, but you get the point.]
But GEEZ Cunningham, with the way you're acting you'd think I died or something! How honkin' long have you been here anyway?
[All joking aside, Howard's equally as thrilled to see you, Randy. This is TOTALLY bruce.]
no subject
[Randy loosens his hold on Howard, just so the hug doesn't cross the line into no longer being totally manly. Doesn't make him any less ecstatic or relieved to find him, though.]
But it's been MONTHS! I didn't know what to think, I found Julian here and he was okay-- well, okay as you can be when you're... Julian, but it's been a while since I've seen him.
And the only other people I've run into from Norrisville are... um...
[Just about the last people he wanted to see.]
no subject
Well Julian is always sorta strange, dude. But tell me bro, who else did you see? I mean everybody else has gotta be around here SOMEWHERE, right?
and now back to our regularly scheduled bros
And, uh...
[Suddenly, he sounds significantly more nervous.]
The Sorcerer...
Yeeee~
Dude, seriously!? How are you still in one piece, man?!
I mean I know you've fought his stank before with no problem, but you actually mean to tell me that you saw him face-to-face?
no subject
[Truthfully Randy isn't sure, and agrees with you, Howard. He doesn't know how, or why, The Sorcerer already hasn't tried to kill him more directly, now that the centuries old man-monster apparently can.
Maybe it was more complicated; maybe there was still something keeping The Sorcerer's power contained.
Whatever it is, he isn't complaining. He's thankful that he's the first Ninja in over 800 years to see The Sorcerer up close... and live to tell the tale.]
no subject
None of that makes any sense dude...but I guess you're probably right. Still, what are you gonna do now if the Sorcerer's....here, ready to screw everybody up with his stank? Just....business as usual, or what?
no subject
[Whether or not he's in Norrisville, it's the duty of The Ninja to stop The Sorcerer from wreaking havoc.]
no subject
no subject
no subject
[He's leaning towards the latter.]
...So who was it?
no subject
I snuck up on him and The Sorcerer forming some secret plan to destroy The Ninja, and since neither of them had any weapons, well...
[It really proves how heartless The Sorcerer actually is, that he's willing to stank even someone who's supposed his ally if he has to.]
no subject
[Not that he feels particularly bad for him or anything, but that still is messed up by some degree.]
no subject
[It certainly wasn't pretty. Not at all.]
no subject
[Though in all honestly, Howard shudders at the thought of a stanked Viceroy, considering how dangerous he and his inventions are normally.]
no subject
[The monstrous version of Viceroy was significantly more dangerous, and difficult to defeat, than any of his actual inventions to date.]
no subject
I'm just glad you're ok, dude. You're really gonna have to watch yourself now that they're here...and now that they know The Ninja's here...
[Howard can only hope that in this place Randy will be able to continue keeping his identity a secret. It's not like anyone other than Howard himself knows anyway.......right?]
no subject
no subject
Uuuh....Ninja? ....I uuh....think you should...sorta yaknow...be here....like now-
[Well he'll just pretend that Randy can hear him through the walls of other threads. Sounds like a plan.]
better late than never rescue GO
You keep your shnasty old lizard claws off of him.
[And he means business.]
ahaaa I need better icons
[Not that he was scared or anything. Pssh.]
no subject
What's up Howard, have some unfamiliar guy in strangely ninja-esque gear standing with his arms crossed, giving you what might be an eerily familiar stern critical stare.]
Weinerman.
no subject
Do I know you..?
no subject
[Nope, no explanations, he's just going to see if Howard figures this one out.]
I'm not certain Randy requires your particular brand of "supervision" in his duties.
no subject
[Ok hold the phone. Howard takes a step closer and gets a bit of a better look at the stranger, but it's still not enough to really ring any bells. He's more concerned with the tactful way this guy just called him out.]
Excuse me, but I don't really think a complete stranger is gonna tell me I can't hang out with my best bro. I mean seriously, I know he's got a job to do and all, but he'd be lost without me.
[Ninja or not.]
no subject
Do whatever you wish with your leisure time, and... I suppose it would be remiss of me if I didn't acknowledge that you've been useful at least once, but the vast majority of the time, Weinerman? Your antics have only been impeding my student. I won't directly interfere with his choices, but nor will I revoke my warning to him on the matter just because of one stroke of luck.
[There's a slight Japanese accent to his voice as well, despite his clear fluency in English.]
no subject
[Howard notices the symbols NOW at least, but even if he's suspicious at all he doesn't outright make the connection. For one, it's impossible, and two....that's just a little too out there, right? Yeah, no way. This is just some weirdo.
..Who Randy either knows or is being stalked by.]
..I don't mean to put Cunningham down or anything, but he kinda has a tendency to get himself into his own trouble half the time, don't you think?
no subject
...you've kind of got Nomi there, though. His expression melts into a deadpan.]
If eight hundred years have taught me anything, it's that there's hardly a teenager who doesn't. I'd simply rather you not make it worse.
no subject
Howard meets your deadpan with a raised brow, Nomi.]
Yeahhhh, I'll have to work on that.
no subject
[With that and a wave of his hand, Nomi makes as if to leave, but pauses before stepping past Howard.]
Oh, and one more thing - just because you can't open my pages doesn't mean you can get those infernal sharpies anywhere near my cover.
[HE KNOWS YOU WERE THINKING IT, WEINERMAN.]
KEYWORDS
He pivots in an instant, pointing at Nomi with a guttural exclamation.]
YOU. You-...you're the Nomicon!?
[And don't you think for a second he won't try.]
Pfffff ahaha <3
Well my title certainly isn't "Ninja know-it-all" or "that stupid book."
[Go ahead and try, Howard, see what happens when you annoy an ancient magical artifact!]
no subject
[THAT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN and Howard doesn't like it one bit.]
no subject
[To be fair, Howard, your whole "knowing about the Ninja" thing isn't supposed to happen either, and Nomi's about as fond of that situation.]
no subject
Not a problem at all, book.
no subject
"Bruce"...?
Don't tell me you're one of Randy's friends. Everytime I've talked to him he's been throwing weird words like that into random conversations all the time.
no subject
Wh- ...so what if I am? Is there a problem with that?
no subject
Unless, you have a problem with me having a problem.
no subject
[It begins.]
no subject
So you'll see there's no problem at all.
[Hmph.]
no subject
Right ok, whatever. EITHER WAY... you say you know Randy?
no subject
Pretty nice kid too. You're Howard, right?
no subject
