tentatively looking at games

A home? I already have one of those. And I don't think the places you're looking at will really be quite like the Tooth Palace. You have to remember I have a job to do, mun! My fairies are fighters, but they can only do so much without me. How would you like it if someone plucked you right out of work and sent you to some strange place? Granted my job is just a little more important, but the principle is the same!

Please, just reconsider all of this. I have to help protect the children.

Though...I suppose there might be children at these games that need protecting, too. And there seem to be so many different guardians around here...

Oh, don't think I'm agreeing with you! I still think it's a bad idea, but if I can help children wherever I go, then I suppose it would do some good.

[Yeeeaah, he's not letting go anytime soon. Even though he leans back a bit to take her in, his eyes just a bit glassy, he's still holding on tight. Somehow in the midst of the hugging, he lost his grip on his staff and it fell to the ground forgotten.]

[Actually, his eyes are more than a bit glassy. He's not crying, but he looks like he wants to, though the glowing smile on his face makes it clear it's from joy rather than sadness. It's a little much for an everyday hello.]

How did you get away? Did the others get out, too?

[Way to hog all the friend-hugs Jack you snuggly little sap. Some other giant rabbits in the area have missed Tooth too, you know.

On the other hand, the giant rabbit in the area is also flashing back to all the weird stuff they've seen here, like that Pitch that wasn't their Pitch, and drawing an unfortunate conclusion that their Tooth might still be imprisoned wherever it is the fearlings dragged her, when last they saw her.]

And . . . do you have any idea what we're talking about?

[And now Jack's expression is devastated.]

Kuk? The fearlings? Pitch breaking the world? You and the others getting captured?

That's not ringing any bells?

[There are a couple of things worse than watching Jack's heart break, but those things aren't happening right now. Bunny puts a paw on his shoulder.]

We're having a spot of trouble over on our end, and ah - we're kind of doing it alone.

You could say we miss you. A lot.

[Jack finally pulls away, though it's reluctant. His expression is almost wounded, but it's clear he doesn't see Tooth as being at fault for his sadness. There are other people - or rather, things - out there that are responsible for that.]

You can't, Tooth. If you're from another world, that world probably needs you as much as ours needs our Tooth.

- on the other hand, if we COULD call in help from other teams of Guardians - we'd definitely get ours back a bit faster.

[He's just thinking wishfully, don't mind him.]

Maybe you could give us some advice.

After North got taken, our you kinda led the team for a while, before our you was captured, too.

Now we've to get all these strange people from other worlds organized and getting along and we have no idea how to do it. Leadership isn't really me and Bunny's thing.

Any tips?

Keeping in mind most of these people are children themselves.

And we're expected to fight with them, not protect them.
