tentatively looking at games
A home? I already have one of those. And I don't think the places you're looking at will really be quite like the Tooth Palace. You have to remember I have a job to do, mun! My fairies are fighters, but they can only do so much without me. How would you like it if someone plucked you right out of work and sent you to some strange place? Granted my job is just a little more important, but the principle is the same!
Please, just reconsider all of this. I have to help protect the children.
Though...I suppose there might be children at these games that need protecting, too. And there seem to be so many different guardians around here...
Oh, don't think I'm agreeing with you! I still think it's a bad idea, but if I can help children wherever I go, then I suppose it would do some good.

That's the only reason I'd ever agree to something like this.

Of course. Guardians have to stick together, after all.

[The cry is jubilant and meant to get the pooka's attention - because Jack knows he'll want to pay attention to this. It's been a while since the two of them saw their version of Tooth and every nerve-racking day that passes makes them more and more afraid they might never see her again. For this reason - and because Jack isn't aware she could be a different Tooth than the one they know - Jack flies into her hard enough to possibly knock her right out of the air, enveloping her in a massive tackle-hug.]

For once it's nice to be called over not because Jack's spotted another thing that needs beating.]
Ah Tooth, are you ever a sight for sore eyes.
[He hangs back from the tackle-hug, but his body language says he might try to get in a friendly one of his own if Jack can bear to let go of Tooth for a moment.]

Jack! Bunny! It's good to see you two!

[Actually, his eyes are more than a bit glassy. He's not crying, but he looks like he wants to, though the glowing smile on his face makes it clear it's from joy rather than sadness. It's a little much for an everyday hello.]
How did you get away? Did the others get out, too?

On the other hand, the giant rabbit in the area is also flashing back to all the weird stuff they've seen here, like that Pitch that wasn't their Pitch, and drawing an unfortunate conclusion that their Tooth might still be imprisoned wherever it is the fearlings dragged her, when last they saw her.]
And . . . do you have any idea what we're talking about?
no subject
I don't think I do...
What was it I'm supposed to have gotten away from?
no subject
Kuk? The fearlings? Pitch breaking the world? You and the others getting captured?
That's not ringing any bells?
no subject
We're having a spot of trouble over on our end, and ah - we're kind of doing it alone.
You could say we miss you. A lot.
no subject
Then let me help you. If Pitch is causing trouble then it's still my job to stop him.
no subject
You can't, Tooth. If you're from another world, that world probably needs you as much as ours needs our Tooth.

[He's just thinking wishfully, don't mind him.]

After North got taken, our you kinda led the team for a while, before our you was captured, too.
Now we've to get all these strange people from other worlds organized and getting along and we have no idea how to do it. Leadership isn't really me and Bunny's thing.
Any tips?

And we're expected to fight with them, not protect them.

*you'll have to forgive him, Tooth. He's just a tad bitter.*
