Besides, just having a simple Scottish accent? Booooring! I like the French that you've unwittingly given me anyways.

Okay, so you're a little too infatuated with French accents... and Italian ones... and accents in general, yeah, okay; stop your inane babbling. But look on the bright side of this: at least you didn't give me a goddamn Transylvanian accent. [His voice drops to a low, irritated grumbling.] Yes, I know you got the idea from watching Van Helsing. No, you shouldn't do it. And no, I refuse to let you make me part goddamn vampire.

[ He looks like he's trying not to laugh. ] Hey, remember I told you about fun video games? If you want to laugh at an accent, try Cooking Mama. It's a Japanese woman speaking English with an Italian accent.

[A look of absolute confusion comes to Ros's face at that; confusion that quickly morphs into an incredulous look.] I think whoever made that game doesn't know how accents work... I could understand if it was just Japanese speaking English or the far more believable English with an Italian accent, but all three?

[ He raises his hands defensively, palms up. ]

D-don't ask me! I guess there's this stereotype that all the best "here let me fill you up" type mothers are Italian, so they tried to recreate that with a Japanese mom and then made her speak gratuitous English with Italian flair. I didn't know that many languages existed!

[Ros just makes an exasperated noise and covered his face with his hands, shaking his head slightly as well. After a minute he moves his hands, giving his face a small rub before he lets them fall back to where they had been before.]

If I ever have a problem, it has a 97% chance of being stereotypes...

[ Julian raises a delicate eyebrow. ] You don't have a lot of problems then, do you?

[He shrugs, the corner of his mouth curving up slightly in a small smile.] Nah, I've found that the more you have, the more your life tends to spiral downwards. My incurable habit of keeping grudges is enough of a problem for me.

You don't have a grudge against me, though! So can we be friends?

[Ros grins at the other's enthusiasm, nodding a bit despite himself.] I suppose having a friend wouldn't kill me.

I wouldn't kill you. [ Blink. ]

[He snorts slightly at that.] Figure of speech; I don't keep many friends for long for some reason. No idea why that might be.

Well, I stick by my friends forever. So you're good with me!

And I'm not one to simply drop friends, unless they do something to make me realize that their friendship isn't something I want. [He pauses for a moment before smiling a bit.] It takes quite a bit to do that though.

Good, because I don't try to lose people, so... I'll be good!

[He lets out a small chuckle, lightly clapping a hand on Julian's shoulder.] You don't seem the type to lose friends easily.

They die. [ He says it very simply. ]

... [Oh. Well now Ros just feels like an ass. (More of an ass than usual, that is.) He freezes for a moment before letting his hand slip off the other's shoulder, awkwardly clearing his throat as he shifts his weight on his feet, not really sure what to say after that.]

Don't look like that. [ He chuckles, tossing his head. A black feather flutters to the ground. ] Dying is normal. Most people die. Just not me.

[He flusters slightly, making a rumbling cough noise.] Well, I mean, yea that's true but-- [He promptly stops when he begins to start sounding like a blubbering idiot and presses his lips together, the look on his face embarrassed.]

Don't be sad like that. [ He murmurs. ] Please. It's okay. The important people stick around. Like Leo, and Miseratti.

[He still feels like an ass, but at least he feels like less of one now. He manages to quirk his mouth up in a smile, rubbing the back of his head and ruffling the hair there.] If you say so, I guess there's no right for me to feel bad for that. It just seemed blunt on my end I guess?

Yeah, that's true... [He rubs the back of his skull a few times more before he pauses a moment, moving only when he sneezes rather violently, making a slightly unmanly squeaking noise in doing so.] Ugh, dear god!

[ He jumps, spooked. ] W-what the heck, man?!

S-sorry! [He shakes his head, making a groaning sound before he settles again.] Wasn't expecting that sneeze, that's for sure. God I hate sneezing...
