Okay, so you're a little too infatuated with French accents... and Italian ones... and accents in general, yeah, okay; stop your inane babbling. But look on the bright side of this: at least you didn't give me a goddamn Transylvanian accent. [His voice drops to a low, irritated grumbling.] Yes, I know you got the idea from watching Van Helsing. No, you shouldn't do it. And no, I refuse to let you make me part goddamn vampire.

Well I can't say they're wrong, I've seen laughter make some amazing changes to people sometimes. [Like his Mun -- using her for his ever-living example -- and how she'd been feeling a bit overwhelmed with all her homework n' stuff and the few good laughs she'd gotten out of this cheering her up in a snap.]

Some people take a bit more than just the small things, I suppose. There's some that laughter just doesn't seem to work on for whatever reason. [He gives a small grin, shrugging one shoulder.] Sometimes I'm one of those people, especially if my mood isn't one for laughter.

[He'd disagree with two out of three of those if said out loud, but what isn't known isn't bothered with. He does notice the thin smile, however, and he has to curve the corner of his mouth up in return.] Different for the better, I take it...?

[He raises a brow slightly. It isn't too often that he gets that, usually people say that he's worse.] Well there's obviously something about him that keeps you staying. [After a moment he holds his hands up a bit before letting them fall again.] It's a tad bit surprising I can be considered better than someone, though I can't much say you've seen my bad side either.

Yeah, but I don't think I've seen Leo's, either. [ And that's a terrifying thought, too. The callboy's a shithead through and through, but he's never actually TRIED to be a dick, as far as Jules knows. ]

[He nods a bit solemnly.] And something you hopefully never see more in likely. [He can keep his violent bad side under some good control, but it does tend to slip out every now and then and it usually leaves people in the ER, unfortunately.]

I'm more worried about him ever making me that mad. I love him dearly, so I let his assholitudes slide sometimes, but... [ But the last time someone pushed Julian too far, they ended up erased from existence. ]

Could you perhaps talk to him about his attitude...? [Hell, it never worked when others tried it with Ros, but that's because he's just a stubborn ass who has problems with change. But talking things through helps with others. He isn't exactly one to be trying to give advice, but hey, he likes the kid other male and thinking of him forever being caught in a circle of uncomfortable situation didn't rest all that well with Ros. Surprisingly enough.]

I've tried, but it doesn't do much good. It's sad for me, that's all. He was so kind and gentle-hearted and strong, once. [ Only, "once" is the equivalent to about three thousand years ago, and Leo wasn't Leo way back then. ]

[He lets out a small sigh. It was worth a shot, he supposed.] Yes, watching others change for the worse... it's a bit disheartening. Especially if they were someone close.
