Considering a second game. Open to suggestions though.
One place isn't enough for you? I have enough to deal with at just one game.
Honestly, I don't see what you get out of this, besides taking pleasure in tossing me into ridiculous situations and seeing me suffer. Would you even have enough time for two games?
[He rolls his eyes, crossing his arms.]
One game is enough. I don't wish to be tossed into another. I have just gotten adjusted to the game I'm in, after all that has happened. You're going to wear me out thin at this point.

[ Pitch, dear, you have too much grey in your hair. Let her smooth that back. ]
You won't need to answer to anyone at all.

There's always repercussions for when I want to have my own fun.
[He knows that all too well. Happened twice in his life, and once in the game he's already in. Even lost a friend in all of it, which made it sting even worse.]
Heroes and heroines, you know, that whole thing. [A casual handwave. The same song and dance.]

Let them come, you mustn't forget who you are. The King of Nightmares would be nothing but an empty title if they overlooked your talents.
Take their persistent stupidity as a compliment.

Good point. I'll just have to change up my strategy in how to deal with them; to be more effective.
[And a small hiss of black sand swirls at his feet.]
no subject
[ Oooh, black sand! Calling it up into her hand, she traces it into grainy patterns over his collar-bone: Ἔρις. ]
no subject
Mn, very true. I'll have to use that to my advantage. [And he reaches up to twirl a lock of her hair idly, before letting it slip away and flourish back out.]
no subject
I'm sure you will. If any of those self-proclaimed heroes run across your path, introduce them to the dark.
no subject
I'll introduce more than just the dark to them.

[ Mini!Cetus wriggles playfully and swirls back into the sand near Pitch's feet. It leaves enough room for one of Eris's arms to drape over a shoulder. ]
Would you make them scream?
no subject
It's like music to my ears.
no subject
Are you sure you're not just showing off to impress me, Pitch?
no subject
Maybe a little. There's only so much a spirit can do to impress a goddess. I have to take what I can get at this point.

[ Vanishing with a puff of smoke, her lips find a home briefly on the nape of his neck before she reappears nearby and off to one side. ]
no subject
Oh please, you've complimented a simple spirit like me many times. I do believe that the golden rule should apply in this case.

Alright, call them words of encouragement then.

Then I'm honored to be considered a favorite, even for a fleeting moment, by someone like you.
Besides, what I have would barely even pass as a heart, so I doubt there would be much to break.

[ Ghosting over she presses up against his back and ruffles his hair, preferring it in a state of mild disarray. A hum resonates against his neck. ]
Keep this up and you'll turn into a real consort, Pitch. You'll have no time for shadows.
no subject
Making me choose between a partnership and my shadows?
You're terrible.
no subject
[ Gliding up, a light kiss finds a home near his temple, long fingers spidering around his waist from behind. ]
I'd lock you up until I was done, tying you up with ribbons of your own darkness.
no subject
Done? With what exactly?
no subject
[ Leaning in, she whispers over a dark throat and digs her nails into his coat, pulling him back against her with mild possessiveness. ]
Thoroughly.
no subject
I should have known you'd be one to break their toys. Good thing I don't break easily.
no subject
Nothing wrong with a few well-placed fractures, hm? Metaphorically speaking, naturally.
