You keep telling me not to worry about Bofur's desire to have a 'serious discussion' with me later, but I am, quite frankly, worried!

Maybe not as worried as I am about what I did to Thorin's hair while I was drunk...

This festival was a terrible, a really very-- Just a terrible idea to take me to!

[That's why you wanna give him hugs a lot, huh? Not gunning for him?]

Bofur says I'm already on my way.

I told him that I wasn't rolling in soot to prove it!

I would think from all the soot you've consumed with your tea you have no need to do so.

Maybe that's what is causing all of this! Perfect!

[That just gets a brow quirk. Bilbo are you serious about this bead and braiding thing or just mocking them now?]

[He's perfectly serious. So get on it.]

I would think this would not be considered respectable for a hobbit?

[Trying to be dwarf like that is. Then again, Bilbo running off with them wasn't very respectable was it?]

[Self-conscious Bofur is self-conscious.]

[You worry too much, Bofur. Bilbo just smiles.]

This means you've no excuses now than to let me make sure you eat properly and clean your hands of those splinters.

[He'll probably realize eventually that he sounds like a wife.]

[Bofur glances at his dirty, splintered hands before shoving them in his pockets quickly, giving Bilbo a grin.]

Oh aye? No way I c'n get out of it?

[burgling]

No way at all. Let me see them?

[gottheballs]

[Bofur will huff and put on a good show of being annoyed then before pulling his hands out of his pockets and holding them out to Bilbo. In truth, he loves having someone to care so much over silly things like splinters.] I can't hardly feel it, y' know. Calloused hands.

[burgling]

Bofur. [Such a small little whine, and a sigh.]

Bofur, that's not the point you realize?

[Down in his lap those large hands go. It's a good thing he has pins from his sewing bad.]

[Oh? Bofur blinks in surprise.]

I don't want to see you hurt even a small bit. Or uncomfortable. You could get an infection. You could damage yourself later...this is dangerous!

[gottheballs]

[Bofur laughs, but not unkindly, oh no.] Not used t' someone carin' so much.

[He doubts that he's going to actually get an infection; it's been a very long time since he has. But it's nice.]
