[She pauses, thinking for a moment.]

Friendship...means a lot to me. Having friends who accept me for who I am, while helping me be better than I can be...

I don't know where I'd be without my friends.

How do friends help you do more than you are able?

Well...sometimes, I worry that I won't be able to do something, or that I'll mess something up.

But my friends believe in me, and they help me if I'm having trouble. And just being there for me makes me want to do all I can to help them too.

So they...make you stronger.

[An enthusiastic nod.] Oh yes. They make you stronger...and help you find the strength inside yourself to stay that way.

[Stronger...and happier, too, if Agumon was right.]

If I offered to be your friend, would you accept?

[She seems surprised, but only for a moment before another smile appears on her face.]

Of course! I...I would like that very much.

[Perhaps...having a friend to protect, and spend time with, would help him feel more alive, and less empty.]
