I think it's more the required number of encounters one has. It doesn't have to be multiple people. However most of them all too willingly to bend their necks and - with certain aspects of vampirism suppressed - why not take advantage.

[And then there is Walter, who will apparently still be a virgin even at 70, and whose brows are presently furrowing with repressed embarrassment.]

[ Enjoy may be debatable, but he certainly doesn't seem to mind. Both hands catch the strings putting Walter in the position of having to possibly fight the vampire's strength to finish the job. ]

[Which is why Arthur essentially has to sneak behind his back to invite whores over. Of course, he has also just unintentionally given away the subject of his jealousy-- but he doesn't seem to notice, as he is presently too bent on trying to fight against his partner's vastly superior strength in order to strangle him.

Naturally, it's a useless endeavour to begin with as Alucard has no need to breathe, but the idea of it strikes Walter as an appealing way to relieve his stress. And at the moment, he is very stressed.]

[ The vampire’s hands twist in the wires again without care for whatever pain they might cause. Then it’s a quick jerk on them when he stands. Oh can taunt Walter further. In fact if the look of his eyes anything by which to judge, it’s practically on the tip of his tongue. ]

[There's a little more slack in the wires now that Alucard is standing, the butler having made the choice to let out the lines a bit instead of resorting to the ridiculous position of reaching up high above his head or standing on his toes in order to maintain his angle of attack.]

[Well, no he didn't. But he did make it about as clear as a giant sign painted on the side of a building. He doesn't tend to speak of the prospect of rescuing someone he doesn't want to see, after all; it's counter-productive.]

That isn't entirely the point.

[ His gaze runs the length of the wires and back. Should he let Walter cut off his head - again? Decisions. This time he opts to forgo decapitation, solving the impasse by taking his more diminutive stature. ]

You know if you weren't so skittish about sex, it wouldn't be half this easy to stir your rage.

[Their target escaped and the young butler not so vexed enough to set them upon the vampire again, Walter retracts the wires, shifting his frustration into taking on a more rigid posture as his gloved hands clench into tight fists.]

I'm not skittish about sex. I just don't want to have it.

[Or have anyone near him having it. Cleaning up after Arthur's visitations has given him a particularly keen distaste for such activities.]

[ Meanwhile Alucard wonders if Walter plans on tensing up enough to snap his own spine. His head tilts, dark hair spilling and swirling around a face discordantly young. ]

[ A diminutive, white gloved hair waves in the air and Alucard slips over, hands on his hips. ]

It still disgusts you.

[ And yes it amuses him that his partner eschews such a human activity - Arthur's tastes aside. ]

[Walter, on the other hand, is growing increasingly more uncomfortable with the situation. It is as though his internal trap alarm is going off, but he can't quite pin where the vampire is headed with his remarks.]

Do you have a point to this astounding observation or are you just waffling about to get on my nerves?

[ And there is something oddly refreshing that he can still make Walter uncomfortable at all. Alucard crosses his arms and one brow lifts in a mockery of delicacy. ][ The look in his eyes sharpens and Alucard's grin is as lethal as ever, but he says nothing else. ]

[It's a pity he can't think of anything to change the subject to at the moment. Otherwise, he would have shifted the conversation to a more agreeable topic.

However, anything at all is better than silence. With a shrug, he forces himself to relax his posture.]

Would you have me be any different? Like Arthur, perhaps?

[ Alucard's hands sweep out, dainty fingers splayed and slightly curled. A beckoning, a warning, or both. ]

[ From anyone else it might seem like a non-answer, a dodge. This however is Alucard and he's always maintained that the world of humans isn't his. ]

That's something you'll have to answer.
