That was a horrible birthday. I can't believe how close we were to losing someone! As soon as we approach a town, I'm filling my dorm with more medical supplies than I can ever imagine needing. My healing ability is too unpredictable to leave to chance, I can't let the potions run out again.

But I'm going to forgive that mistake and look ahead. We all made it out alive, and there's the Valentines' dance to look forward to. I've got plenty of candy in the mail! I wonder who's going to pair up? Some people need a little help to realize what they want, but I'd be happy to do it. We could all use some cheer around here---after everyone rests up, obviously.
