Vahzah kogaan. You have acted well. Though I did not expect to become a guardian again so soon. Still. If I cannot be in Skyrim, then it is a great pleasure that I may still teach two of dovah sos.
…Hm. You jest as if you do not know my intentions. Yes, you know what I would wish to teach them. Nuz fent drem dein, I must have patience. Was I so careless when I first taught the Thu’um? Suleyk ni ofan staadnau. What knowledge I will give, and when, is a choice to be made carefully.

That, and you're beautiful.]

Greetings, wunduniik. I am Paarthurnax. Who are you? What manner of spirit?
no subject
There's a pause before letters form into words on the floor between them, since she's not certain if this beautiful creature could hear her or not.
MY NAME IS AMATERASU, THE SUN GOD. AND YOU?]
no subject
I am of the dov, the children of Akatosh. Krosis. I have not heard your name before.
no subject
A paw pushes the floor as letters disappear to be replaced.
I HAVE NOT HEARD OF YOUR KIND BEFORE. ARE YOU A TYPE OF DRAGON, AND IS KROSIS YOUR NAME?]
no subject
Hmm. Yes. Mulaag ko rotte. Dragon is the mortal name for our kind, but in our tongue we are dovah. My own name is Paarthurnax. Krosis is... sorrow, the regret of that which is.
no subject
A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU, PAARTHURNAX.
Don't ask how she can spell it, she just can. Kind of comes with being the creator of everything, most likely.
YOUR PEOPLE ARE FEW? KROSIS IS YOUR FORM OF "REST IN PEACE"?]
no subject
Few, yes. I have been alone for many centuries. We were many once, ko bokke kruziik. Dovahhe mahlaan. The reign of the dov ended long ago. But perhaps we will be many again, if my brothers hear what they must. [He's optimistic. And believes he's strong enough to possibly pull it off.]
'Rest in peace', these are words of mourning, are they not? That can be krosis, deep sorrow indeed. But it is also, hm, apology. Regret offered to another.

THEY CAN BE. APOLOGY, YES, BY SIMPLY SAYING IT SHOWS SOME FORM OF TOO-LATE GOTTEN RESPECT FOR THE DEAD PARTY. THERE IS ALSO "MAY THE GODS BLESS YOU" AMONG OTHER THINGS.]

Vahzah, true. Many would ask the protection of such as you, sahrot zii. The kogaan, the blessing of Arkay. Or a place with Shor in the halls of Sovngarde. They are wise to do so. There are great dangers awaiting the sillesejoor, the souls of mortal dead. Though some entrust themselves to other powers.

It must be a strange sight to any onlooker, particularly one who cannot see her crimson markings. Just looking at it, there's a rather happy-looking white wolf jumping on top of a holy shit that's a dragon!!!'s neck and climbing to an appropriately suitable spot for both dragon and "regular" animal alike. She's obviously done this before, those his bumps and grooves and spikes are quite new. Still, she maneuvers him like a professional dragon rider, which might be another one of her talents.
A few barks are let out, pleased and joyous, almost more like the songs of a bird.
Then, in the air in front of him: LISTEN CAREFULLY. YOU MAY BE ABLE TO HEAR.
And if he does so, and with his status of creature, he may be able to hear a kind, gentle voice of wisdom saying the same thing.]

And her movement on his scaly hide is sure, unhesitating - it is new to him but not, it seems, to her. Few have sought to draw close to him without a weapon in hand - they've certainly never been so enthusiastic. He curves his head around carefully to try and look at her, nearly missing the words before him.
He sees and heeds them though - stills himself within and without, and listens. As he has learned to hear the Voice within, and the guidance of Kyne, goddess of the sky, so he seeks to listen now.
Her voice is a stirring of the spirit, a gentle call to his nature. His answer is quiet but full of gladness.]
I hear you, sahrot gein, and I am honoured.
no subject
It doesn't tell in her voice, but omg this is the most awesome thing EVER!!!]
no subject
Aan loan. You have dovahhe... dragons, of some kind, in your world?
no subject
posted because omg how cute is this and in this thread how appropriate????She paws at his hide again before moving up and down his body with ease, far too pleased for this great experience. Her eyes move down his wings in curiosity. The god she knows has none.Yes, Yomigami is one of the gods who has aided me, comes the almost enthusiastic reply. He has no wings, however...you are a most wonderfully made creature!]

The cute! It is too powerful! He can't help a slight shiver. Dragon scales aren't ticklish, but the feel of her padding over him is most peculiar. He ducks his spiny head, part in gracious acknowledgment of the compliment. Part to counter the flare of pride, the age-old whisper within: yes, truly, are the dov not greatest of all creation?]
Wahlaan naal bormahu. It is not to my honour, but the work of my father Akatosh, the God of Time. Werid los ok. It is he who made us in his image.
no subject
Akatosh must have been a very powerful creature, comes the reply. Don't mind her crawling up his neck and batting at his horns, does he? Because, oh man, this is so cool!]
no subject
Deep respect in his voice as he speaks of Akatosh.]
Vahzah, he is- [wait what's that at his horns...? He twitches his head with puzzlement.]
Aam- great one?
no subject
He is one of greatness? He'd have to be, to make such great big amazing creatures in his image.]
no subject
Indeed, he is zok lot. It is through him that all of creation came to be... what is it that you are doing there?
no subject
Hm?
A moment and she's leaped off of him, flowers appearing and disappearing just as quickly as she lands to all four feet at the same time and shakes out her fur.
Apologies, I got carried away. You are simply far different from the dragon I know.]

[She chuckles, though it's a little awkward.] Hope I wasn't offending with that observation - it's not a bad look, just not something I've seen before.
[Probably because of animation limitations, but shhhhh.]

[She pauses, and winces at the implications, given the casualties of the previously mentioned war.]
Though if that's so, there's a loooot of angry dragon spirits out there.

Pogaan, yes. It would be good to know for certain, leh thu'um thur daal - before the voice they await may call them.
