[ poor amy's head is practically spinning here as she tries to process all of this, arms folded and a small frown on her lips. ]

I think that's far more easily said than done -- I mean, there's a lot going on and I'm really nervous about all of this and it's just a lot to take in all at once. [ has she mentioned that it's a lot? because it's a lot. ]

Oh, I realize that. I wasn't sure how to react, bring around strangers all of a sudden, having to make new friends.

[ cosette nods a few times. ] How about a breath first, miss?

A breath! A breath. Yes, right. [ a very overly-exaggerated deep breath, exhaled slowly with added calming hand gestures. ]

There sure are a lot of strangers around here. It's kind of freaky. Really freaky.

[ cosette breathes along with her, moving her hands in a circular motion as if this will help the poor lady. ]

I get nervous all the time, too. I think most people do, if in an unfamiliar situation. But, I'll soon be familiar. [ she extends a hand. ] I'm Cosette.

I'm - Amy. [ she shakes cosette's hand almost timidly, which is certainly nothing against the other young woman. ] Do you tend to frequent this ... place? I've seen all kinds of crazy looking people around here.
