canon is fable 3
Okay, okay, I get it. You really like how my hammer's turned out. I admit, it does look pretty cool, but if you ask me, you're getting waaayyy too excited about the fact that it looks like a bird. Can we move on now?
And, um, hey. Just one more thing... You know that whole "canon point" thing? Weird name for it, if you ask me, but that's not what I'm wanting to discuss. Don't you think it's, well... To put it frankly... A bitchy thing to do? Picking the one you've been talking about? Can't I at least know Walter's okay? That's all I'm asking for, really. I just want to know he's okay. Because if you send me someplace, and it makes me think I died out in the middle of the desert, without letting someone know that Walter needs help...
It's not like you don't know what you're doing! That's why you want to go with that one! Seriously, come on. Hey! Don't you walk away from me! Hey!
Dammit.

My player informed me that now would be a good time to speak with you. Though if I am honest I have no understanding why that might be. Do you?
hunh! if you're using a different font, it isn't showing up on this computer
I... I haven't the faintest idea...
no subject
Your reaction couple with the hesitation in your voice implies that you do.
What reason do you have to attempt to deceive me?
oh now I'm sad :c I'm missing out on pretty font
She shakes her head, a little too violently. This... girl? This person -- Emma's pretty sure it's a person -- can't help the way she looks, probably. Can't help that she reminds her of the Crawler, just enough (white skin, too many eyes).]
Just some bad memories.
sorry :c
That feeling is not misplaced. Like him, her very presence seems anomalous. In fact, her voice carries and practically echos despite all the open space in the area, as though her very existence distorts the fabric of sound and space. She is not supposed to be here, and yet for some unholy reason, she is.]
More secrets. Your kind is very greedy in your veiled meanings. Yet often when it comes down to it these hushed bits of knowledge are often bland and temporal. While I have no doubt they have meaning for you, in the grand eternal I truly doubt that these memories of yours will have any real lasting effect.
Food for thought. Though I have never seen a human's mind eat food.
[Er... she is pouting now.]
wah no you don't have to apologize lmfdksjg
Wh... Yeah, Emma's not entirely sure what's even going on any more. The not-a-Crawler girl just told her that her memories don't mean jack shit, though, that much she knows, and while that ruffles quite a few of her feathers, she's too uncomfortable by the not-a-Crawler's presence to rise to it like she normally would. So, instead, she does what she always does when she's uneasy: She laughs it off. Or, tries to. It's more like she's shrugging it off, really...]
Hey, can you blame someone for not wanting to talk about something that skeeves them out? I figure it's only natural. Besides, it's not exactly something easy to explain, and I don't wanna waste a stranger's time trying to bumble around with it.
no subject
And why not? Your kind is just so eloquent in maintaining a feeble understanding of even the most basic concepts.
[She laughs, and the air laughs with her.]
Though I suppose I should be more understanding. After all, it is not as though my life is devoid of pain and suffering. I suppose it is just common enough for us that we don't feel especially tight-lipped about sharing.
That, and it doesn't really matter. If one of our elders wishes it they could make the fly from our mouths and into their ears.

[That's probably because you don't even have a one star strength stat, Reaver...
That voice might sound familiar, but the appearance probably isn't. You'll have to forgive him for not recognizing you; he's from a much earlier canon point.]
From what I've gathered about mundanes, they're quite fond of putting you through the worst situations possible, simply to see if you will adapt and overcome or die trying.
[...you haven't been paying attention at all, have you Reaver?]
no subject
My mother left it for me, so I'd have it even if I didn't use it.
[She's not so sure she likes what she's hearing, but this is Reaver, so at least she knows she needs to take everything he says with a pound-bag of salt.] Well, I'm not really one for dying.
no subject
As far as dying goes, not very many people are fond of it. People will say all sorts of things when they're in a life-or-death situation, however; it's always a marvelous look into their true character~
[Yes, Reaver, we know you're an edgy tryhard. Now sit.]
no subject
... dear Reaver, please stop creeping her out
please and thank]
Is that why you made Paige and I fight through your "Wheel of Misfortune"?
no subject
[Or maybe it was that other one. Eh, some temple was destroyed, he doesn't really care which it was.]

I hope so. 'Cause I can't think of any time worse'n that. [Oops. Her pronunciation slipped. That hasn't happened since it was beat out of her by instructors when she was in her early teens.]

If you're curious about Walter, your Highness, he's fine. I take it you're talking about Aurora?
[[well if you're not this is gunna get weird]]
no subject
Emma offers a grateful smile.]
Yes... I know. [Or, at least, he was fine. But. You know.] Thank you, though. My concern was that I wouldn't know that he survived the Darkness that day, wherever I would be sent. Thankfully, though, that's no longer something to be worried about, but... It's still an awful thought, isn't it? [Look, an attempt at laughter! Ha ha.]
no subject
I try my best not to think about what could be going on at home while we're wasting our time here. I suppose our only option is to trust in our companions.
[[....
ben please don't ruin everything]]

The kingdom can run itself for a little while, can't it?
[right? ............. right?]

god, we're so screwed]]
That depends on the state in which you left it, Princess. Have you taken the throne?

[and then there's that matter of Commander Milton that was taken care of but she doesn't really want to think about that right now]

Aaah I have to run off now - but I've really been enjoying this thread and am keen to continue! :>
I'm enjoying it, too <3 continue away! ... at the next available opportunity
MAN IT'S JUST REALLY NICE TO HAVE OTHER ACTIVE FABLE PEEPS
GOD I KNOW RIGHT?? there needs to be a Fable DR or something even if it'd be mostly empty
OH MAN I WOULD SO TOTALLY BE UP FOR THAT OH GOD OH MAN
oops suddenly live action PB because there aren't enough actually happy smiles for the Hero
DO YOU KNOW HOW EXCITED I AM TO SEE FABLE 3 CHARACTERS AROUND HERE? I mean, I just beat the game but
But, when the topic suddenly changed to death, abandonment and uncertainty Liara no longer felt uplifted. Such topics were something she had become accustomed to in a short amount of time and, therefore, could relate with the stranger.
Liara wrung her hands, a habit she developed often showing she was nervous.]
I'm sure your mundane has a good reason to leave you in such a situation.
I ENTIRELY UNDERSTAND I WAS EXCITED WHEN I SAW ACTIVE FABLE PEEPS TOO come into our armsss
Haha... No, I'm pretty sure she doesn't. Her own entertainment doesn't really qualify as a "good" reason, not for this. But, I appreciate you trying to offer words of comfort. I really do.
Luckily... She's since been persuaded against the idea. Not by me, but I'm not about to look a gift horse in the mouth.
