Erebor or bust, mun. There are no alternatives.
Now I understand the grief of others concerning your kind.
[Thorin is not at all impressed by this mundane, scribe, whatever one wanted to call them. He cared not what their name, just that they could and would stop him from finishing his quest to Erebor.]
Do not think that options will make this better. A place filled with Smaug's kin or you threaten to send me off to be wed to some prince? These are no options, either way they are an obstacle in the line of too many I must face to take back our homeland. Do not think I shall stand for it, nor allow this to take place.
[He'll end this with some dwarven words growled out with a less than nice tone to them. No doubt some sort of threat or warning to his mundane. He's not going to these games. Over his dead body, or so he will certainly try!]

/was attracted by all your icon keywords
[Not that he gets the least bit of satisfaction out of this genuinely well-intended advice, oh no. Dragons are serious business, though. Forced marriages, however absurd, are merely irritating by comparison.]
haha I can never take keywording seriously
I am not interested in your advice nor do I have need of it.
[Because, ew elves. Who even likes elves anyway?]
<--
I'm glad we both take RP seriously lol keywording is clearly a work of art.
Tolkien characters are too funny to take seriously.
It's why we love them.

[ Sounds a little familiar. ]
It certainly could be!
Yes, it was taken from us by a great beast.

/here have a different kind of elf
What prince would your mun have you wed?
You're all the same to him. Too bad Gandalf isn't here to make him mind his manners.
A Nysgod... an ethereal beauty of only male gender, or so my scribe has told me. [Sounds like elves to him, minus the only male thing.]
What need of marriage do I have with no thrown to sit upon? Erebor is still kept by a fire drake and until the day we can flush it out and destroy it I shall not consider wedlock. [And Thorin frowns sharply.]
Especially to any prince. [Especially to anything remotely like an elf.]

Even if you are drawn to a world not our own, you and your kin will see Erebor freed from Smaug when you return. It will be as though time has not passed since having left.

And what proof do you have of this, elf?

I won't lie, I'd do anything to enable you to the towerofanimus
Daw, you're sweet! I'll keep the game in mind if I decide to send him anywhere. Still practicing :3
Yay! You're doing really well so far, practice-wise
This post has been a huge help and everyone has been super, so I'm thankful for that!
That's good :3

Do not allow your scribe to send you off on whims of their own. Taking back Erebor is what must be accomplished. I have found these scribes to be lazy and arrogant of late. They do not understand what we have been through and seen. They have a home, we do not.

It shall not happen, she is not able to make any commitment as it is. [Too undecided, too unsure, horrible for him either way. The possible threat of a game to be sent to is not something he wants looming over him at all times.]
Our quest is all that matters and her silly games are nothing but that. A waste. There is enough in our way, I shall not allow this to become that as well.

Love that icon :D
You're welcome to use it as well if you like! I loved that smile he gave Balin. His smiles are magic
Re: Thank you :D He is very handsome ;)
I do agree.

What's this about weddin' someone? Erebor is more important than some women, aye?
Dwalin 8D!
No woman, Dwalin. A prince.
Re: Because Thorin needs some Dwarven lovin' ;)
All the dwarven lovin'!

Your scribe is clearly in need of aid if they think they can determine your fate. Our fate lies with you and Erebor. I will gladly follow you wherever you choose.
Kili!
[Don't you laugh at him, Kili. Don't you do it.]
There is no doubt of your loyalty to this quest, you or your brother, but it is good to hear it all the same.
Re: Hello, Uncle :D
You're lucky he likes you, Kili. He'd help you bite that tongue.

Fili!
[As much as he hates to admit it. This scribe could send him off where ever they choose, and he would have little say of it.]
Hmph, strange does not begin to describe it. Two radically opposing options, dragons or forced marriage to a prince. A prince of all things. She finds delight in the absurdity of it all.
Thorin ! :)

Your humor is not appreciated nor wanted, I have no desire to be wed, especially to a prince. There are more important things at hand than marriage.

[He almost feels slightly sympathetic for the dwarf. Almost.]
Though, does this truly surprise you? The muns are quite...odd at times.

[He is not doing what this woman wants. Not now. Not ever. Or so he keeps telling himself.]
My experience with them is fleeting at best, now that she has found such interest in me I would rather her attention shifted else where.

[He's one hundred and ten percent exasperated at this point.]
When shall Erebor be of topic again?

[Thorin has had it up to the tip top of the lonely mountain, he's done with this mun of his. He would like a refund and to get a new one. Or have none at all.]
She would insist there is no need for it to be of topic, but she is a fool.
