It is a tale known by many, the dragon Smaug that came from the north drove my kin from our mountain home in Erebor, due to it's love of gold. [And there was much gold to be had in Erebor, a greedy weakness for the line of Durin that was for sure.]

It is said the dragon is not able to be slain, it's hide impenetrable, if not we would have stood our ground and defended our home with all we had. [Trying to would have been the end of all who lived in the mountain if they had had a real go at it.]
