Much time has passed since I left the world of the living. How are you able to summon me back?

(He hasn't drawn a weapon to defend himself (mainly because his swords are now in the hands of his sons). Yet he also seems to be feeling the situation out before he acts.)

I have no desire to be amongst the living. My time was spent well and I have no regrets about my death. I imagine that is hard for one as young as you to understand.

Find a few girls, down a few cups of wine, challenge some strong people, that sort of thing.

Girls, hm? (He has to admit, that suggestion amuses him.) I have two sons and I doubt there are many who could challenge me.

[puppy_lancer]

Yeah, girls. You can still find quite a few good women in this day and age.

[The mention of kids catches his interest.]

Wouldn't you wanna meet your kids again? Give them a pat on the head, ask them how they've been doing?

[Lancer would have liked to have had kids who could survive him, but the one child he did have...]

I see. (To be perfectly honest, there weren't many women during his original lifetime that caught his interest. There were two to be exact.

He chuckles.) Only one of them would react well to that sort of treatment. (The other might try to take him down.)

Then give the other one a flick and ask him why he isn't glad to see his old man. Hell, take him out for a drink sometime.

He doesn't drink. (Alcohol, that is.) Even if he did, it wouldn't affect him.

What about a smoke then? Or does that not affect him either?

He wouldn't be interested in it. (And neither would he.)

I have a guy like that in one of my games. He's pretty fun to hang around, so you guys'll probably have a fun night trying to conquer stuff.

(He's a little disappointed.) I see.

Board game?

[puppy_lancer]

It's a human invention. Basically, you've got spaces on a board and little game pieces and you move them down the spaces depending on the game. Some of them are competitive, like, say, Monopoly. The board is a city and you see who can buy it up first.

I cannot imagine playing such a game with him. (Though, honestly, he'd probably try to.) Do humans consider it fun?

Some of them.

[Lancer personally finds it boring as balls.]

Nah, I like the louder stuff.

[If he wanted to take over a building, he'd take over an actual building. If he wanted to get in a fight, he would pick one.]

But a game of chess or checkers is good for conversing with friends.

Hm. (He is considering the possibilities.) I do not believe my son relishes the idea of friendship.

You can't just barrel through life conquering stuff. What good is all that power if you can't enjoy it?
