You must live in a really sad place. I mean, come on! No snow in winter? No Toothfairy stories? No Sandman tales? What kind of hole could you possible be- ...no Easter Bunny either?

Everyone seems to be into this whole rambling about "Guardians" recently. I really don't get it. Why are any of you so special?

[He tries to poke the tail with his staff, but oops, it's gone. Spoilsport! Just for that, Jack is gonna give you the mun version.]

Apparently we're the cutest thing that has hit the cinemas since those viking dragons.

[He moves out of the way of the staff, although he didn't seem to take a step. He just kind of... Was suddenly somewhere else.]

I don't know what you're talking about, but you don't seem that cute to me.

What's so bad about the Easter Bunny?

[He's about to tell some if his better rabbit jokes... but oops, cute little girl. Dammit, those are his weakness. Can't break her pure child heart!]

His fur gets everywhere. And it makes you sneeze. [There, not that bad, right? He pokes her nose.] What's the fun in that?

[She smiles, clearly agreeing.]

Well, that's not too terrible. Are you allergic to rabbits?

Sometimes I wish I was. [He winks. Isn't he charming.] You sound like quite a believer, little miss.

They probably have some kind of seasonal figures, even without Jack Frost or the Easter Bunny. The seasons are pretty pushy about their domains.

She has a mouse that picks up her teeth and the long lost cousin of Nessie in some lake. I guess it's something, but it still no Guardians.

[ whoa! he... he isn't anticipating it at all, and gets nailed in the face. there's a bewildered few blinks before he shakes snow from his face rather than wiping it free. ]

H- hey! [ laughingly, before he's swinging snow back up at him with both arms. ... which probably does little, but there is an effort here! ;~; how do you make a snowball? ]

[And Jack loves the effort! Hear him laugh.

Here, he'll start levitating around Toboe, poking the ground with his staff. With each poke, he creates a snowball.]

A place with no snow in the winter sounds perfectly find if you ask me.

...what? [Jack stares at Cheren. Are you kidding him? You gotta be kidding him! Squinting his eyes now. No freaking way.] Are you soulless or something?

[oh. Oh. That's how it's going to be, is it? Forgive Cheren for his 'are you a bit dumb?' look that he's giving Jack, because wow, rude.]

Disliking cold weather doesn't make someone soulless. It just means you prefer warm temperatures.

[This? This is only the beginning - not even a 1% of how it's going to be. Just wait for it... not much, if Cheren keeps giving those very insulting looks!

Jack puts his staff on the ground, which stays perfectly still, and jumps on top of it - crouching like a cute white monkey. He keeps squinting his eyes and looking at Cheren as if he was this very weird thing.]

Is the warm giving you this mood too? Now that would explain it.

[Yay, a kid! ...that likes bunnies. Nooooo! Jack crouches in front of him, smiling.]

What they need is a good old snow day. Do you like snow days, kiddo?

Yeah-huh! Cause it's really, really terrific! It sparkles and you can eat it and mommy says it's magic because it only comes a little!

Oh, oh! Once, one time, we built a rocket ship out of it! [Jumping up, fingers reaching.] We went up, up, up, upppp, and then up, and we went in the stars! We saw aliens!

[Each word from this kid makes Jack smile wider. This is what he lives for.]

Did you show those aliens who is the boss? I bet they got nothing on a snow expert like you. [He pokes the kid's chest, making a snow crystal appear.]
