I know I won't have my powers. That makes it even worse. Must you keep rubbing that in?

[He gives this a moment's thought, however.]...This is probably one of the weirdest conversations I've ever had. And I've been in Nautilus for a month now, so that's kinda saying something.

Weird doesn't even cover it, but here I am having a conversation with the Boogeyman...so. [Shrug.]

You just missed attack of the fifty foot robotic Santa and his rabid reindeer. I wish I was joking.

My apologies. [wipes away a 'tear' and calms down]

I wish I could have used that idea before. North would have been so surprised!

[He straightens himself out though, smoothing his robes.]

We'll see how it goes, if my application gets accepted. I doubt I'll like it at first but... like you said, with time, things should get better.

[Then a grin, if a cautious one. He felt like he should be telling Pitch to get lost and find another game, but in a weird way it was comforting to know that his belief in the Boogeyman wasn't misplaced.] You'll get in. The waiting part isn't so fun, but I had this conversation with my mun a month ago and I got in with no problems.

[He nods and glances to his mun.]

[Forgive this twenty year old's grin for a moment, Pitch. He's a dweeb that way.] You know Santa? Dude, awesome!

[And back to the matter at hand.] Yeap, my mun was too. But now she's all excited. Which can be a very dangerous thing.
