You understand I wouldn't discuss these things so openly under normal circumstances, however this certainly isn't normal, so I see little harm in it.

I would have to confess to the later, I'm afraid. Human anatomy can be so interesting to explore, I can only imagine the intrigue and mystery of dissecting something completely different.

There are some surprises, yeah. Different species following different evolutionary paths--there's a hell of a lot of lifeforms out there, not all of them organic or even solid. Those sort are the trickiest to figure out, which is why Torchwood's got a brilliant doctor like me to sort things for them.

Oh, you know, the usual. Annoying co-workers, shit hours, the frequent deaths and threats to my life, not to mention the tragedies that happen every other Tuesday.
