Hmf. This is typical of you, you know. I've got better things to do with my time than indulge another one of your passing whims.

But I admit, it might be interesting. Hei is there, after all.

[There is a distinct laugh in his voice. Guess what, Hei? He knows.]

[Is that optimism? Mao squints. Hei's sentimentality seems to be infectious.]

[He doesn't sound confident of it. The hard reality is, Huang is a middle-aged man with no special powers and an unattractive face. There is very little about him that would appeal to most roleplayers, even if they were a larger fandom.]

[Only slightly. Hei does have quite an effect on the doll, after all. Her player likes Huang, though. It's hard to imagine someone else out there doesn't.]

Have you learned more of the City? [She's already been. It was...very closed off.]

Some. Hei described it as like the inside of the Gate.

[He folds his ears back as he thinks.]

[A small nod. Yes, quite like the Gate, in some ways. In others....]

[Nope. Dolls see no reason to lie. It's not in their programming. And Yin wouldn't lie to her partners. She gives a short nod to the vacation comment, because, yep, that's pretty much what it is. Curses? Yeah. Won't mean much to their team.]

[He yawns loudly and curls up.]

Tell your player to hurry up and finish your app. There's a good chance I'll be waiting.

[He'll need all the help he can get keeping Hei out of trouble. Oi.]

She said you'll have to be patient. [Relaying the message deadpan, dead-eyed, as only Yin can - completely matter-of-fact. But help keep Hei out of trouble is the main reason Yin wants in. It'll happen.]
