There are more ways than one to kill. If he refuses to join me in a Circle Of Equals then I can simply distract him at an opportune time. He is absent minded and lives in the city. It would be only a matter of patience.

Muns are honorless sorts. I doubt one would accept such a duel, were it even possible. Certainly there would be little challenge in such a duel -- perhaps you should suggest she appoint a proxy to make it actually interesting?

Mine at least has some sense of what I find of interest, and has avoided such games where I would become bored. Though she seems to find some measure of delight in finding difficult situations for me.

I have no problem being placed in a difficult situation. A true clanswoman thrives on challenge.

I am the Baroness of Daavya, a barony in the duchy of Arylle in the southeast corner of the Dragaeran Empire.

And how did you get that title?

Well, it had been my father's, though rumors of he and his wife's apparent cowardice in their final battle caused it to revert to our House. As I wouldn't claim something lost to dishonor, and my own recollections of the battle were flawed, as I was a child at the time, I remained merely Tazendra of Daavya.

But, as part of a rather grand adventure and mission set to us by His Imperial Majesty in my youth, my friend, Aerich, revealed that my parents had been acting under orders by the then-Duke of Arylle, his noble father, who had asked them to escort Aerich to safety should a battle arise, and then decoy the enemy away. Thus, they had not acted in cowardice and dishonor at all, but at the behest of their liege-lord.

As a result, His Imperial Majesty gave me leave from the position in the Guard that I held at the time to see to the restoration of Daavya as its Baroness. Which is not as exciting as battle, but is the duty of the landed nobility to see that the land and its people are managed.
