Um, mun, no, I don't -- I don't think this is a good idea. At all. I mean, I've never left my tower before, and if you take me away while Mother is out then I don't --

...oh, well, I mean, even if you bring the tower with me, where will she go? She needs me, I can't just leave her!

Mother doesn't leave a lot, though! Just when we need supplies, or presents, or anything. And even without her, I have Pascal! And my books. And lots of things to do around the tower.

I think you're stronger than I am. I wouldn't be able to stay in one place for so long, at least not without sneaking out every now and then.

I can walk on my own two feet just fine. I've spent days alone at home before. But if Mother came home and I wasn't there...!
