Yeah, well, glad to hear Namor's always been a pain in the ass, I guess. Though I don't see how that makes it any better.

Mister Hammond... Jim. [Even he had to force himself on calling his predecessor so informally, but he managed.] I appreciate what you're saying, but do I really look like I'm in need of validation? Trust me, I've got no need to recognize how awesome I am, I'm fully aware- though it is nice when everybody else cops to it as well. [Yeah, just a bit of a smile there.]

I'm not thinking about 'measuring up', I'm thinking about dragging you along on the next trip to the Negative Zone or something. There's so much wonder in the universe you deserve to see... and let's face it, against two Torches, what baddie could have a chance?
