Go back to pretending I'm a naval officer. I enjoyed that ridiculous fantasy much more.

Oh, I do not know, I think I actually would enjoy the sort of trouble you might cause me as a Captain, Leftenant.

Beyond that, they can keep their ideas to themselves and I will be quite happy with the result.

I do keep hearing I look good in a naval uniform. But you recall that I'm not nearly as much of a troublemaker when I don't have the Puck identity to uphold, I hope?

I'd not mind a few ideas, actually. Would give me something to do.

I think perhaps that grand old adventure we were contemplating might include a sail or two in our future. I could chance the risk of the water if it were to have a row or two at your side.

Though preferably not of the kind that requires oars. I am not fond of row boats.

They don't make ships like they used to these days, though. A shame, really.

No rowboats, don't worry. I find them rather uninspiring.

I am sure we could find an old schooner or sailing ship if we sought one out. If not, well, other arrangements can always be made.

It might cheer you up some to hear that it is my mun's intention to free me of my curse at last.

It would be a kindness I believe she owes you, after so long. One you certainly deserve, at the least.


And you can stop that face if you plan to argue either of those points. I have been around you long enough to know. You deserve the chance to be happy.
