That seems to be how they think up all of these things. I meant no offence to you or the other gentleman, of course. But I loved my father very much and just because they have seen nothing of him and thus do not care, I can assure you I do not feel the same.

Beyond that, they can keep their ideas to themselves and I will be quite happy with the result.

I think perhaps that grand old adventure we were contemplating might include a sail or two in our future. I could chance the risk of the water if it were to have a row or two at your side.

Though preferably not of the kind that requires oars. I am not fond of row boats.

Yes, yours is a good deal kinder, I think. To most of you, at least. She seems to have it out for Robin, though not quite the same way mine has it out for me.
