Buffing Up

I've repeatedly revised my understanding of the laws of physics. Everything I've seen as a Ranger and in this new world requires it. But I think we can both agree that there are certain limits.

For instance, it's absolutely impossible for a weapon the size of my own to extend this far and still be as slim as it is. Also, the spinning head of my lance can't possibly generate enough lift to carry my weight, no matter how 'cool' that effect looks on screen. The addition of electricity seems more within the realm of possibility, though. It'll likely be my next project after final exams.

So I'm not completely immune to the charms of animation. I don't mind adding 'frivolous' flair to my arsenal as long as it has no negative impact on my ability to fight. It's an engineering challenge, with all the educational value that comes with that.

I'm no expert on this kinda thing - but in my experience, applying enough burning spirit can certainly make the improbable, or even the impossible a thing that could happen.
