Considering
distantskies with an AU Sam
You can't be serious? You're going to create an AU account for the sole purpose of apping to this game and saying I'm married to General O'Neill?
Do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds? And how against regulations that is?
[Sorry Sam, you won't be in the Air Force anymore.]
What?? No, absolutely not! My work is important, and so are my responsibilities to SG-1. I realize than Daniel is a civilian member with the team but I'm not sure they'd let me keep working as if I was still a member of the Air Force. Do you have any idea how long I worked to get to this point in my life?
No, of course you do. Or you wouldn't be so deliriously excited about this.
You had better be sure before you do this.

[Not that he has anything against the idea]
Kinda skipping a couple steps. Can't see you not being part of the Air Force.
no subject
[Neither does she really. Who knows if General Hammond or General Landry would see this.
This mun happens to know someone who plays Hammond.]I can't either, I spent over twenty years in the Air Force.

Yeeeah. That's...that's pretty close to what mine was figuring. That after Anubis we just...[He shrugged] y'know, stopped waiting. Then after the Ori thing...
[He rolled his eyes.]
Sounds stupid talking about it like this. Anyways, after that, I retired, we made it all official. Before then, nobody really cared. What with, y'know, saving the universe for a living. Call it a perk.
[He looked around again, just to be sure]
I, uh, popped the question at Christmas. Jut so you know. [Because, really, he's got a hard-to-access soft spot, but it's a mile wide under all the armour]
no subject
After everything we'd done, I don't think they'd have dared try to court martial us.
[She smiles at the Christmas proposal.]
At Christmas, really? That's the best present I could hope for, for Christmas and my birthday.
no subject
[He looks behind him for a moment]
Yeah, mine is giving me a push in your direction. Or more correctly a shove. He's a, and I quote, "big fan of the two of you".
[A slight pause]
Not that I mind the shove, given the direction...

[ That's so against regulations indeed. But, seriously, can't say he didn't see it coming. And if that makes them happy... ]
If I remember correctly the mission reports, you were a civilian married to Colonel O'Neill in at least two alternate universes. But in spite of your condition, you were still taking an active part in the Stargate Program.
[ He's not saying he approves, ok. But- He can't say that the idea is far-fetched either. ]
no subject
At least two, yes sir. Probably a few more, as well.
[That certainly SOUNDS like approval.]
no subject
So why are you worried? I doubt your mundane would ruin your life. While they may sometime be cruel, mundane tend to be attached to their muses and respect them.
[ ... He has a duty. He cannot express himself openly on those matters. ]
no subject
I suppose you're right, sir. It's just not something I expected of her, to twist my life around to fit that kind of scenario.
[Who says he can't now?]

Come on, look more excited, free grammar lesson!
Excited and grammar should never be in the same sentence!
But it's learning! (that's not astrophysics) The more you know!
Can it spacemonkey. I get enough at school!
You can never have too much learning. (Now all he needs are Reading Rainbows spraying everywhere :|
Jack O'Neill can.
Think of this as round two! Now you can learn even more.
I'm embracing high school. What more do you want?
Hoping you won't glaze over during it because of boredom?
I get hot teachers. It's not so bad.
And mentally Jack's older than they are by quite a bit. This is weird with a side of wrong
And it's the Asgard's fault!
Surprisingly the Asgard and not the Tok'ra too.
Not interested in the deep freeze deal, remember?
High school, the next best alternative.
So it seems.

'Some' being the keyword here.
I see that.
Wow, look a little more impressed, Jack. At least he showed up for training in the first place
That's probably just lack of icons, Danny boy.
Obviously the only answer is to have 300 million icons.
Are you payin'?
Only if they'll take a receipt, eraser stub and a compass, cause that's all I have in my pockets.
Somehow I don't think so...dangit!
In some interstellar cultures, I'm sure receipts are quite valuable!
Find them and I will eat my text book.
Watch the next planet they gate to be THAT planet.
Text books taste nice, you know!
