let's try this again

I don't know what you think to accomplish, sending me back. I am not at all opposed, but I believe I was made many promises which were never fulfilled — namely, the occasional company of several attractive and very talented women, and rising to political prominence. Perhaps with the aid of a stepladder for both. If these things could be relied upon to happen, I'd be far more enthusiastic.

Oh, yes, very well, and time with Jaime too. Gods know what he may have gotten up to in my absence. And you should not forget my strange student. I imagine he must have made some progress by now and I'd like to see it. If he hasn't, well... that's not his fault. I don't suppose books and scrolls take well to sea water.

So? Shall we?

I've been ever consistent in this way. But I've otherwise taken your advice, which is a thing one ought see to believe.

Guardsman work for a friend.

[ --from Jaime, 'friend' can mean anything, but who knows, maybe he's being sincere. ]

The Arena hasn't missed me, however, and I plan to chase you 'round it if you truly found a way out and neglected to inform me.

[ Yes he made a friend thank you Tyrion. That question is blithely ignored. ]

Mine threatens something similar, early and often. Perhaps the revelation is that all goes exactly as planned.
