Lady Mundane, I do not understand. What is the purpose of this realm? For what reason must you test your voice?
... Ah, a thousand pardons. However I see no reason for you to test my voice, either. You already have the Man of Iron as a companion and I have other battles to fight. Back home. Battles for which I need my voice. I cannot spare it for such trivial matters as playing with dinner.
[Even if Thor really doesn't see what playing with rolls has to do with the voice]
Allow me to pass, and we shall speak on this another time.

I do not-- you mean this realm is outside of time's reach? [Oh smiles he can definitely do]
I am sorry I could not meet with you, the last I visited Midgard. However, I was assured of your safety.

Yeah, exactly. Outside time and, whatever else.
Oh, no, don't worry. I figured it was something like that. [She didn't- at least not at first.] Private plane, tiny island, biiiig paycheque? That was you?

The sky is the most beautiful after the rain]I have heard of none as such beyond Jotunheim and Asgard. I wonder if my father knows of this realm; it has not been in any teachings.
We were in New York, fighting the Chitauri. [But God is the relief almost palpable right now] I was not on Earth for long, but still I missed your presence.

Get out Shakespeare]I... Couldn't say. [She doesn't know Odin, nor does she know much about this 'realm', either.]
I heard about that... All over the news. I didn't see much, just the ends of it; bad reception, but. [Fidget] I saw the lightning. Unnatural, storm out of nowhere. I thought maybe...

T'was I, yes. The towers in New York are most conducive for lightening. We battled, and triumphed, but I had to return home at the conclusion. I am sorry.

But, if you came here again once, then maybe... You could come back again?

The bifrost is shattered, Jane. My father summoned the energy once, but I do not wish to think of what might happen should he do so again, at least not so soon. We wish to harness the power of the Tesseract, to rebuild the bifrost, or perhaps find another, safer path to travel on.
[He smiles, though]
Heimdall informed me you were also searching for another path to Asgard.
no subject
Yeah. I- Yeah, I've been looking. Wormholes, portals, teleporation... Most of it's sort of junk. Even Stark technology hasn't gotten that far. [A depressing notion, believe her.] You think the Tesseract can fix the bridge?

I have no doubt. [And damn does it sound that way. There's just a certain solidity in his words] It aided our return to Asgard, and so it shall aid in my return to Midgard, and your side.
