She's oddly loud for a joke-based AU muse.
Hm. Are you sure you couldn't have thought of a different username for me? This one seems a little...undignified.
[But it's accurate!]
...well. I suppose I can't argue that.
At any rate, your headspace is certainly one of the more interesting places I've been in my life, not in the least because it's one of the few places where I can talk to myself and not be considered crazy. Granted, I'm talking to a male version of myself, but my point still stands.
It's strange, too, to meet people here that I think I know but who turn out to be different than I expect. [Pause.] Well, Pascal seems to be the same as ever. This Hubert of yours, though...heh. Textbook case of nature vs. nurture if I've ever seen one. But some things never change, apparently.
[You were teasing him, weren't you.]

Nothing too bad, I assure you. Just testing the waters, that's all.
["Testing the waters" does not mean "splashing your hand around wildly, thereby sending water flying everywhere".]
You would accuse me of such lewd activities with a minor? I thought you knew me better than that.
[wait, wat

((OOC: Couple of short notes on Malikah and her 'verse here and some fake "skits" here for anyone who's curious about this version of everyone's favorite troll captain.))

[To be honest, part of her is a little relieved that this isn't the Hubert she knows. She may have settled things with him after his love confession on Fodra, but there was still a touch of awkwardness lingering in their conversations.]

[ How did Captain Malik translate into such a... well-endowed woman? ]

I've said this to Malik once before, but -- finding out about his existence somewhat explains the remark I once overheard from Asbel about seeing me as a man in a woman's body. [She laughs and just shakes her head. Silly, insightful Asbel.] I can't say I really agree with that assessment, though I'll admit that I never felt quite at ease with what's typically expected of my gender.

[Even if she looks absolutely smashing in them.]
By the way -- the name's Malikah, if you need another reason to distinguish between myself and the captain you know.
[JSYK.]

So, Captain 'Malikah,' is it? [ HMMMM. Well. ] Is that really the only difference between you and the Captain I know?

[Besides the obvious.]

[ I foresee trolling in your future, Hubert. ]

[Malikah are you seriously trying to get Hubert drunk -- ]

[ Denied. ]

[She'll get him yet, once he's of legal drinking age. Her trolling extends to her bartending skills, after all.]
So do you happen to be in one of these "games" that muns like to send people to?

I am, in fact. A place they call Somarium, the land of dreams-- though so far the only fanciful thing about it has been the ability to publicly broadcast dreams.

Also everyone in the city itself is supposedly already dreaming-- a collective dream or so they say.

Are you sure this is actually a game and not just...you indulging in, ah, "recreational substances"? I won't judge if you are, you know. [Though she'd certainly be surprised.] I just need to make sure we're both on the same page regarding what we're discussing.

I am aware it sounds ridiculous, but this ridiculousness is exactly what I've had to deal with for the last month! Were I not living there myself, I wouldn't believe it!

Yes, Pascal is there.
