An Unamused Elf
Fate has very little to do with our meeting today for this was predetermined long before you've noticed my presence.

[ yet not actually the point (and you never know with some people); moving on. ]
As much as things are awful, and the government is useless and the people are untrustworthy and I keep getting kidnapped which I'm not happy about, there's also-- poetry, and new clothes, and cities with things that cities have in them, like coffee shops and worrying about things that don't really matter. It's funny what you miss, when everything is broken, so what ends up surprising you; knights and stories about hobbits and spacecraft but not at the same time, I'm almost used to most of those things now, but buying things with money again and also newspapers and nursery furniture. And letters to the editor.
