While it is true that there is a time for patience and careful deliberation, there must also be a time for action, mundane.
Trust the decision your heart has made for you. Finish the application.
[... Light help him, raising three apprentices was less of a challenge than dealing with this one mundane. But desperate times call for desperate measures so he'll swallow a little of his pride.]
Please.
[Those samples really won't write themselves.]

As I understand it, the purpose of these applications is to prove a mundane's ability to write. I wouldn't think such a test should be easy.
[Frown.]
Still, I suspect some mundanes make the process more difficult than it really needs to be.

he laughs. ]
Yeah, you could say that again.
At least your mun's got you here. Maybe they could use this.

Just going to saunter over to him, flop over to her side, and gaze at him pathetically.]

He looks to the poor creature that has flopped down at his feet, an eyebrow raised but his expression otherwise fairly sympathetic.]
I take it you've faced similar trials with your own mun.
[Or is this... just normal wolf behavior... One of the two.]

[Don't mind the immediate and unwavering skepticism, stranger.]
You would praise your mundane before she's completed her work?

Alas, mundanes are not at all like students. At least with students you can use actual physical harm as an incentive. Mundanes are a different breed all together.

Nonetheless, I wish them and you good luck, Master.

[Or so he is convinced.]
Thank you, Aqua. Has your mundane sent you to any of these... game worlds?

[Oh god, she's so hopeful. But this has to be one of the few, rare times she actually heard him say please. That alone means something.]
I have been to some, but haven't stayed for long periods of time. The last one I was in was inhabited by humans and creatures that they... trained. [Light above, she thought the poor Pokemon were mutant Unversed.]
...It was certainly different than other worlds I've been too. [Helpless smile.]

What about yourself, miss? Does your mun intend to send you one of these unusual places?

Somewhere, in some faraway world, a Terra winces. An odd suggestion coming from Ventus. He would have expected advice involving food or sleep from his youngest apprentice.]
You believe running laps would motivate her to finish the application?

[Have an older Aqua, by almost three years and with much longer hair than he's used to seeing.]
I'm sure that you and your mundane will get it finished easily enough.
Which game are you going to?

[And he trails off, noticing the changes in her appearance. He's quick to recover his composure, but he's left wondering about those differences.]
Hopefully she will focus her efforts on its completion soon.
I believe she's had her sights set on a world called Adstringéndum.

Just give them sometime, you'll see, I'm sure they'll be done in no time!
[Says the kid who takes frequent naps. Some of them being a year.]

It has been several weeks now.
[Ven still has him beat in the longest unplanned nap record.]

If only it were a matter of her taking her time or writing slowly. She has been deliberately putting off starting the few sections she has left.
