This is a waste of time. You don't have what it takes to play me. I need a better mun than you. I'm sure you'll lose interest and I can actually do something worthwhile; like clean my room or brush my teeth.
I'm sure you understand sarcasm, right? You are on the internet. If you don't by now, you're even more hopeless than I thought. On the positive side I don't have to share this filthy headspace with any of the other Robins. At least you have good taste, but that's about all you have going for you.
I really don't care if you have a game in mind or not. I don't need to defend some other city. I defend Gotham. Going anywhere else would just be a waste of time.

Dick will blow a raspberry at Damian now, over the rim of his mug.
Very undignified, and very appropriate for the situation, at least in Dick's opinion.*

[Careful what you say Dick. Cause Damian is loading a marshmallow into a spoon and taking aim.]
no subject
Absolutely!
no subject
[And Damian launches the marshmallow at your face, Dick.]
no subject
Yu-huh, you'll have to try harder, little D!
*oh, yeah, and he lunges sideways around the table. Because he knows Damian will.*

Until he smirks, turns around, and promptly catches a marshmallow with his mouth.
Because, really. Edible ammo...*

Unhand me!
no subject
*yep. He'll use that second to try and tickle the boy.
Because with all the training and padded suits? He just hasn't had a chance. And he's curious!*
no subject
[He groans and wait for it, right under the arms. He starts to squirm and is that laughter? Half laughter, half screaming.]
no subject
*no, he doesn't stick with it, sitting back.*
Okay, lesson time. It's called tickling, and it's basically touching a part of the body that produces a reflex of involuntary twitching and/or laughter. It's kind of pleasurable, unless it's done for too long or too hard.
On the other hand, not every person is ticklish, and even the ones who are may not get it at the same places. Though under the arms is pretty common.
And if you knew all that, now you know what it feels like, too.
no subject
Was such a practical lesson needed?
...Are you ticklish?
no subject
*no, no, Dick'll be good. For now. There may be sneak attacks at unpredictable moments later, though.
Annnd he shrugs.*
Very. I've had to learn to deal with it, because, you know, it just wouldn't do if I get tackled and start giggling uncontrollably.

*And this? Is also trust.*

no subject
Predictability, kiddo.

[He grabs Grayson's wrists and flips around to try and tickle Grayson's sides with his feet.]

This probably won't work very many times, but while Damian is focusing on that, he straightens up, stretching enough to make sure Damian is off the floor, then turns him so the boy's back is to him. And then sets him down, lowering their hands and crossing his own arms in front of Damian's chest.
Look. It's a hug. While still holding his wrists.*
no subject
I hate you.
no subject
*He only holds him close for a little bit, then lets go.*
It's still good for you.
Oh, and... it probably slipped my mind, but tickling is generally seen a sign of affection.
*Unless it's used as a torture technique, but let's not go there.*
