On being chipped
Hello, I've got a idea. Rather than wait all those episodes for those government bastards to play around with my head, how about you go and leave me unchipped. You get the big bad me, I get to do whatever I like without a bloody killer migraine whenever I find myself feeling a little peckish. Everybody wins. Maybe not the blokes that get killed, but I can't say I really give a damn about them.
Better yet, let's go a bit before that where I still have that nice shiny ring. That way when you send me into that personal hell with two slayers, I don't find myself filling a Hoover within a week.

[Mutant. X-Man. Freak. He'd know one of those terms. But she's not keen to claim it right now.
Monster.
Yeah. She's that too.
But she's also more. And that more is enough to keep her standing, loosely confident, and meeting his gaze.]

Just 'cause you don't know what I'm talkin' about doesn't make it not true. Fair warnin' about Luceti: "There are more things in heaven an' earth" doesn't even begin to cover it.

If I was tryin' to intimidate you, you'd know.
[She turns as if to start to go.]
Just castin' my pearls before swine, I guess.

Because this ain't a kid's show anymore.
You might be hot on TV, Spike, but she's really not actually into guys who slaughter the innocents. Kind of a major turn-off.]
