Y'know, it's nice being here. No Bats around who can stop me. True, I won't have the same fun, but it's a whole new playground to run around in. [He pops up a kernel and catches it between his teeth] Lemme tell you, it's refreshing being somewhere where very few people recognize your face.

I think I can make a big splash around here. [He holds up a hand in a theatrical aside] Hopefully with people's falling bodies, hahaha!

Look, you know what to do. Get out of the way and let me run rampant. I'm going to paint this place red and you're gonna let me. Because it's so much more fun that way, isn't it?

Nah, too gimmicky. And oh come on, no killing spree? What's the point of being a vampire if you can't depopulate a village or two?

Yeah but the problem is we live in the age of cellphone cameras. Someone could manage to send out a picture before they die and then our secret is screwed. Of course back in the day some vampires would do stuff like that. Vlad the impaler was one guy like that.

[She smiled.]

but I really do like your style. I might have to hire you at the club I help run "The Asylum". Best nightclub in Santa Monica.

[and there's a smirk.]

Mostly because that other night club owner disappeared without a word. Terrible thing when people skip town.

Yeah, see, you'd be amazed how gullible people are. And sure, yeah, cellphone cameras - but there's such a thing as photoshop. Y'really think people want to believe vampires might kill 'em?

And just so you know: I ain't some muscle you hire on for a weekend. If I choose to work? It ain't cheap.

There'd only be two rules; no killing anyone in the club and if you get caught you have no idea who I am.

[She was very amused by all this which was clear from the fact she was nearly giggling.]

You'd be worth it anyway, you don't mind getting your hands dirty and nothing you see will freak you out.

Y'know, it's actually a tempting offer. But here's the thing. I only need money to get back to my main pastime. Setting the whole world on fire, one piece at a time.

[He pats her on the head, with whatever passes for fondness in his mind]

But if you want to do that in my universe you are going to need to be a vampire or something. It wouldn't exactly be a fair fight, you versus every vampire, werewolf and whatever else ever.

Really I think the only ones who will be agreeable with you are the Malkavians and maybe the followers of set if you play your cards right.
