She kneels down and puts out her hand. She's not sure how much like an actual horse this pink critter is, and while you can take a girl off the farm...

"My name's Aurora. What's yours?"

She's a little surprised by the hoof-shake. Very strange ponies, indeed. Well, considering this one is already candy-pink, it's pretty safe to say she isn't much like the horses she knows.

"Of course. No reason to be mean to anyone unless they are mean to you or others first. The multiverse is too small not to try and be polite to everyone."

[They are indeed! And Pinkie could well be the strangest of them all.]

[She tilts her head thoughtfully.]

That's the second time I heard about this multiverse thing! Have you been here long?

"On and off for some years now. I like playing here when Mun hasn't got me playing in dc_nation. I sometimes come here with some home cooking. Some of the newcomers are hungry when they get here. And since I can talk to animals, I can try to make the scared critters feel a little safer."

Cooking! [Pinkie gives a cheerful hop.] I should have brought some cakes, I've been working on something new. Maybe next time...

Oooo, you talk to animals too? You sound like Fluttershy, she can talk to anything.

"You like to cook, too?" Aurora gives a big grin. Oh, this is gonna be FUN. "Cakes and cookies? Sweets? Do you cook healthy stuff, too? Too many sweets can give you a tummyache and that's no fun."

"And yeah, I can talk to animals. Most of them, anyway. I can even shapeshift to an extent. It's a long story."

To demonstrate, she looks at the vibrating pony and concentrates. What results is a mint green pony with a winged cat cutie mark. She's still bipedal, though. After a few seconds, she shifts back to human.

I love cooking! [Not much of a surprise that.] And of course! You've got to have your apples and hay.

[Pinkie's idea of a hearty healthy meal might be a little...different.]

OH MY GOSH! [Pinkie's jaw practically hits the ground when Aurora does her brief shape shift.]

That's the most brilliant thing I've ever seen! Wow...do you do that a lot?

"Apples are perfectly healthy for people and ponies. Nothing like one fresh off the tree! Carrots, celery, and some flowers are also really nutritious. Hay isn't so tasty for people, but good for ponies."

"And the shapeshifting's isn't as easy as talking to animals, but I can take on abilities like wings, claws, hooves, and so forth. I'm not quite human anymore, and haven't been for a long time. It just took a while before I wasn't so scared of it."
