[Despite there being little change in her posture or expression, Nina seems content for the time being.]

[That's good! That's real good. After a few more moments of silence, he thinks of something.]

Hey Nina? You want to meet my best friend? You just gotta promise me you won't try to hurt him, okay?

Promise...no hurting.

[Not that it would have been an issue. Nina was always loving and so was her dog.]

[His grin gets so big, and he moves his hands back to whistle a bit. Out from the side darts a maroon blur, climbing right up onto his shoulders. Bolin gives him a small pet before picking up from his shoulders and holding him out a hair, facing the silly Fire Ferret towards Nina. Pabu responds by giving a curious chitter at Nina.]

Pabu, this is Nina! She's a new friend of ours.

[Nina sniffs curiously, having never seen that kind of animal]

Pa..bu friend.

[Pabu outstretches to try to sniff at her, he's very very curious. Meanwhile, Bolin gives a nod, outstretching his arms a bit more. ]

Yep! And it seems that Pabu wants to be friends with you, too!
