[After being nudged out into the open, this strange creature is a little reluctant to move from her mun's side. So many strange things happened right bfore appearing here.

Whining softly, Nina paces a circle and tries to hunker down out of sight.]

[ Tia casts a pitiful look upon her. What a tortured soul! She bows to her knees and offers her hand. ]

[moelin]

[Well that's a strange creature. He's never seen something like that before. Kind of reminds him of uh... Some kind of dog?

Maybe it's a lion-dog, or something! Hmmmmhmm... But there's just something about her that makes him saddened. He tries to act cheerful as he can, hunkering down onto his knees and giving her a smile.]

Hi there.

[Sniffing her fingers, Nina shuffles forward a bit to look her in the face.]

[Staring at him curiously, she tilts her head when he speaks.]

Hi...there.

[The voice seems a bit...distorted, but definitely female.]

[ She'll just brush her fingers against what she can of her face, quite gently. Tia smiles halfheartedly. If only her power weren't so limited. ]

Ye alright, little one?

[moelin]

[Whoa.

She spoke! Bolin's eyes widen, and he gives her a second look as if he had to make sure he heard correctly. He does get over it -- mostly -- and leans forward, tilting his head back. ]

Whoa... What are you?

[That's something she can't answer, only panting softly and watching him quietly. Then she shifts to nudge him slowly with her nose.]

All...right...little one.

[The obvious answer is no, but Tia seems kind at least.]

[moelin]

[He shifts to sit down properly, giving her a gentle scratch on her head. She kind of reminds him of Naga.]

That's alright. Do you have a name or anything?

[fusedtothecore]

[Ducking her head to accept the scratches, she seems to need a moment to answer.]

Ni...na.

[moelin]

Nina? [She's really nice and friendly, but she still seems... off. Bolin won't address it in case it scares her off, but he's aware there is something. He continues to give her affectionate pets and scratches, introducing himself.]

I'm Bolin, and it's nice to meet you! [Then he brings his free hand up to his chin, giving a couple of scratches.]

You know, you're the first talking animal I've seen and talked to! Well... outside of my dreams, I mean.

[ She's not to be messing with magic (or in this case, alchemy) that isn't of her world, so Tia can only offer her comfort. ]

May peace come to ye in due time. I can only hope for ye.

Ye have a name, dear?

Bo...lin.

[There's a slight twitch of her tail. His voice is nice and he's gentle, so she listen to him, never once blinking or looking away.]

Bolin...good dreams?

[Definitely best she doesn't.]

Ni...na.

Oh, hey don't hide...!

[Taiyou's always liked dogs, and this creature seems to be one; albeit, shy. But how come?]

I won't hurt you.

[fusedtothecore]

[A lot of reasons. But she looks up with a soft whine, looking at Taiyou with a naturally unreadable expression.]

[Taiyou of course is unaware of what the other kid has had to go through. And... the ending.

He kneels down, gently hushing her whimper. Slowly, he raises his left hand to give her a pet--But she might back away.]

[moelin]

[The not-blinking thing's also a lil' creepy, but again! He can deal. She's pretty nice and she's listening to him.]

Well, most of them are! Especially the ones related to stuff like that. Though a lot of them are kind of weird, but I guess that's how dreams should go, right?

[Not backing away, she lowers her head a little under his touch and quiets.]

[Maybe that's how dreams should go? Surprisingly, she ducks her head as though seriously considering that question.]

[moelin]

Hm?

[He feels her head lower under his hand, looking curious as to why she did.]

What's up?

Weird dreams...are bad?

[When he stroked her fur it had an odd texture for sure. It... somehow didn't feel entirely natural.

But he ignores it, and gives her a warm little smile in turn. It makes him kind of sad that she won't face him, and thought it might be because of some deeply-rooted insecurity.

He could try lifting it.

Try.

The boy crouches lower, to have a better view of the face hidden behind a disheveled mane.]

... You're beautiful.

[moelin]

Hmm... sometimes! But only if there's uh... you know, bad things happening in them.

If they're kind of weird but nothing bad's happening, then they're y'know... the good kind of weird.

[Good weird. Maybe that makes sense. She lifts her head again.]
