On suffering in ways only he knows how...
Mun,
For once, can things go according to plan? And by that I mean the way I'd like them to? Perhaps it is a bit selfish of me to ask but you have to consider: I don't ask much of you to begin with and we've a good rapport. There's no need for you to conspire with other muns in that way, you know. I'm starting to feel belittled.

Well, I thought it was funny.

[Snorting indignantly, he folds his arms and fights back a sneer.]
I'm noticing you take great pleasure in putting an end to my personal joy.
[Not that he was in much of a joyous mood by the time Locke showed up, but still. Things had a
snowball'schance to turn around before then. He's sure of it!]no subject
What greater joy could there be for a host than ensuring the comfort of his guests?
no subject
[Call him crazy, but didn't he give you access to a large suite, food, and an obscene amount of amenities? Honestly.]
no subject
[You didn't seem to mind when Terra and Celes did it. You're just mad because Locke got between you and the girls.]
A gentleman would have slept on the floor, if needed.
no subject
entirelybeside the point!]There was plenty of room, as you say, so there really lay no reason for a king to sleep on the floor in his own chamber. Especially with how cold it was...
no subject
And yet you still insist on making yourself a martyr.
[Something you're not telling him, Edgar?]
no subject
If that's how you choose to view it...
no subject
I admit, I do sleep sounder when I know there's a barrier between your wandering hands and the unsuspecting women in the room...
no subject
[Oh, you son of a--]
So, you're admitting you sleep more comfortably wedged in between myself and Celes...
[And his hands were nowhere near them. He was a perfect gentleman!]
...I would have never suspected.
no subject
That wasn't an invitation.
[Just try and grope him, Edgar, see that happens. Hope you're not attached to your teeth.]
no subject
That wasn't expressed interest.
no subject
I'd be offended if I wasn't so relieved.
no subject
[Right back atcha.]
no subject
[Need those double headed coins and all. Just don't bet the crown on that, or you'll lose it.]
no subject
[Not that she didn't know already.]
no subject
[Said plans are exactly what she thinks they are. He'll never admit it, of course.]
no subject
[Yeah sure, she doesn't believe you.]
So what's the problem then?
no subject
[In so many different ways, you don't even know.]
no subject
That's a shame. Were you feeling restless?
no subject
no subject
[Maybe they'll have to invade your bed again.]
no subject
[NO.]

Suffer as much as I have under my mun and anyone can feel belittled.

And I'd... I'd never do what I did. Not normally.
[She fidgets awkwardly.]
