War and suffering, they're products of our desires. Everything we do has a consequence. So we can't keep pretending that what goes on around us doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what world we find ourselves in. We have a duty to protect it. So that's what I'm gonna do.

That's just a sense of ennui that comes when you no longer have any say in things, after finalizing a decision. There's nothing missing but the anxiety of unfinished business you carried with you for years.
