Tell me about it. I try not to get all maudlin about it, though. I still go to the parades an' ceremonies, but there's less of the men I used to know every year. Which is why I keep goin', really. Someone's gotta remember.

Wonder if the feeling's anything like whenever I go to an AIDS memorial thing. There's only so many times you can hear "you're so brave" before you start to wonder if people realize what the hell is coming out of their mouths.
