Ultron...[He scowls. CJ takes a moment for a few deep breaths and to count to ten. He doesn't want to lose his temper but the idea of his father being dead, even in an alternate universe, hits hard.]

Codename's Mustang but my name is CJ.

Yeah, he and all the other Avengers 'cept Stark. [He goes quiet for a moment. Even though Ultron was taken care of, it still stings.]

Mustang? What's that supposed to mean?

The hell...[Nope, he doesn't like his half brother's universe at all.]

It's like the car. [Or the horse but he's not bringing that up.]

Why would you name yourself after a car? [He doesn't... really know about horses or anything like that. He's spent his entire life in hiding in a city run by Ultron.]

Does- Is Dad still alive where you're from?

Because the car is cool and it's about raw power and wildness, man.

[He takes a breath, mood getting more serious.] He is.

I guess that works, since you're all... Hulky and stuff.

[Francis isn't as sheltered and oblivious as the others.] But?

Half Hulky technically. Mom's She-Hulk.

[He sighs.] But I'm sort of not there any more. My friends and I did something a little crazy and ended up in another universe fighting Sentinels.

She-... Hulk? [He didn't know there was more than one, and he's just kind of assuming she's just... a girl version of Bruce. Dad was braver and crazier than he thought.] What happened to Mockingbird?

Yeah. Like the Hulk but a woman and not as angry-smashy rage monstery. She died.

Oh... [He's silent for about a moment, before he just shrugs.] Not like I knew her anyway.

Dad always said great things about her.

Yeah, I've heard all the stories... She's my mom, if that wasn't obvious.

Yeah...I figured. [Just awkward...]

So, uh, how old are you? Kinda hard to tell with the whole, you know, green thing going on.

Seventeen. What about you?

You guessed right at sixteen, but you still don't get to call me 'squirt'.

It's kind of weird... having a brother and all.

Aw, c'mon. The older brother is supposed to give his younger siblings embarrassing nicknames. [Grinning and ruffling white hair now.]

More weird having a brother that's actually related by blood for me.

Hey! C'mon, not cool, CJ! [He pulls away, trying to fix his hair, though he's smiling a little too.]

What's so weird about that? [He shrugs.] Weird for me too. I was his only kid back home... I think.

Oh yeah? What about this? [Trying to grab his little half-brother in a headlock.]

I'm his only kid back home too but I grew up with these other guys who might as well be my brothers and sisters.

Cut it out! [He pulls himself free before CJ can get a good hold on him, taking a step back.] Don't make me put an arrow in your ass, dude.

Sounds like you were pretty lucky. I stuck with Dad pretty much, and once he died I had to take over for the scavengers... I found out there were other Avengers kids finally, but I only knew them for a couple days. I wouldn't call them brothers and sister.

Alright, alright. I doubt you've got an arrow that can do it though, little bro.

[His expression gets more serious at the mention of his alternate father's death.] Why weren't they with you from the start?

I might not have had the resources to make the kind of arsenal that Dad was known for, but I can still blow your ass from here to kingdom come..

[Aaaand then his expression falls as well.] The Avengers left Stark in charge of protect all of us... He assumed that I'd already been killed, so I was stuck in the city with Dad and Betty Ross.

[He laughs.] Dude, I've got my mom's toughness. Going to take more than explosive arrows to do more than ruin my clothes.

Damn...[He really isn't sure what else to say to that.]
