Where does the part about me being excited that you're planning on doing absolutely nothing yet come in? I'm fine at the palace in Agrabah with Aladdin. It's where I'm supposed to be, it's where I want to be, and so if you don't mind? I'll be going back there now.

[ Aladdin! Hey there, going to come on over and generally invade your space. ]

She won't be able to send me anyplace I don't want to go, no matter how hard she tries.

[Aladdin is always happy to have Jasmine in his space, and he reaches up to stroke her hair]

Is there anyone who could make you go where you don't want to?

[ She pretends to think about this. ]

Mmmm... no, not really.

[Aladdin laughs - yup, that's Jasmine for you]

So why worry? You won't be going anywhere.

At least not without you, and probably Carpet and Abu along for the trip. Despite what some people may think -- [ looking up at you MYSTERIOUS DUDE ] -- there's plenty of trouble that can find us no matter where we're at.

[ She sounds not even the slightest bit concerned. Totally ready to handle all of this. Totally. ]

Hey, you're only in trouble if you get caught! [And Aladdin is very good at not getting caught. Well...most of the time]

I wouldn't want to go anywhere without you either, Jasmine. But I've already been sent to one place where you're not, and now she's thinking of sending me to another. [he misses her so so much]

[ Ooooh she doesn't like the sound of that. ]

Where's she sent you? Where does she think she's sending you? If I need to talk to your person, don't think I won't.

[ DO YOU FEEL JUDGED YET, FELLOW PLAYER. IF SHE COULD STARE THROUGH THE FOURTH WALL, SHE WOULD BE GIVING YOU ALL HER DISPLEASURE lkasjdf oh so silly ]

The place I'm at isn't too bad - it's called a 'school', and Abu and Carpet are with me. And she's thinking of sending me somewhere where I'd be helping people.

But...I'd rather be with you. Even if it wasn't Agrabah - I don't care where I live, as long as you're there with me.

[ ALADDIN IS JUST GOING TO NOT MENTION THAT HIS PLAYER SEEMS TO FIND JASMINE'S JUDGING FUNNY. HE GETS THE FEELING THAT WOULD NOT GO DOWN WELL... ]

[ Jasmine doesn't like it one bit, and it's pretty obvious in her face. ]

What's this school supposed to do for you, anyway? And it's not that I'm not sure you'd be great at helping people, I know you are first hand, but if it keeps you away from Agrabah...

[ She takes his hand in hers, squeezing, looking into his face. ]

I'm not that patient, and I will fight to get you home.

[ Somehow JUST ACCEPT THAT IT WILL WORK. She's confident it will, even if Jasmine has no realistic concept of what she might have to do in order to make that happen.

She just knows it'll get done.

Also wise move, Aladdin, she wouldn't be pleased that her judging eyes were amusing to your player. ]

[Aladdin shrugs] They teach all sorts of things. It's kind of an accident that I'm even there, actually - a sorceress cast a spell that makes people from other worlds arrive there. But sometimes people go home, and they say that when they do it's as if no time had passed at all.

[Aladdin squeezes back, and smiles]

[He's confident in her too. Maybe Jasmine doesn't know much about the world outside the palace, but he's never doubted her determination]

Sometimes isn't much of an assurance, and that's not saying anything about this other place.

[ She can't help being concerned. It just seems... wrong to her. Even if he comes back, and no time has passed, it still did for him, didn't it? She'd hate being alone all that time. Even surrounded by people, it could still be lonely. ]

I wish I could give you more, Jasmine.

Hey, for you I'll be back in no time at all. I'm just glad that you won't have to miss me too.

That either one of us has to in the first place is the problem, not who will not know in the meantime.

[ ... this is such a pointed argument isn't it, but the short story is she's no more content that he has to suffer and she doesn't even get to know about it because that just sucks. ]

[Aladdin sighs. He should have known that Jasmine still wouldn't be happy...]

I know Jasmine. But I don't know any way to change it. I can't just make a wish and have Genie magic me home.

There's no way of getting your player to see how pointless it is to drag you around where-ever she likes when you need to be back home?

[ Or maybe Genie can... distract... his player. Somehow. She's not sure, but this plan will come to her, certainly! ]

She's kind of...stubborn.

[ Eyebrow raise. ]

[ Or Jasmine, really. Details. ]

[Aladdin scratches his head with a nervous laugh]

Stubborn enough to never listen to me.

[ Where has she heard that before. ]

Aladdin, tell me where else she's planning on sending you.

Some place called 'The Last Voyages,' I think. [Aladdin decides that mentioning the fact that he'd be going to a place filled with villains and criminals would be a bad idea...]

The Last Voyages? It's not another 'school,' is it.

[ It sounds more like something sea-faring, which is even more strange than the idea of a school. ]

More like a ship, I think. [Aladdin's not sure why you would keep criminals on a ship, but that doesn't matter because he's not mentioning the criminals]

[ There's something he's not saying. She mostly guesses because Jasmine tends to presume people are slow to tell the whole of whatever they know.

Or just because she wants to make sure she hears everything she can. ]

Then you're going to be on a ship? With what kind of people? Where is this ship going?
