Where does the part about me being excited that you're planning on doing absolutely nothing yet come in? I'm fine at the palace in Agrabah with Aladdin. It's where I'm supposed to be, it's where I want to be, and so if you don't mind? I'll be going back there now.

No one puts me anywhere I don't want to be. If I decide to go anywhere, I won't be the one in anyone's way.

You really think it's not that different anywhere else?

[ Conundrum: this man, whoever he is, is right to some extent. Or more mocking what she knows isn't universally true. Sure, she didn't spend long down in the city proper, but it was pretty apparent from that alone that things weren't as easy as she was used to.

But she also has a problem with lots of critical processing of this reality. ]

[ More to make the point he was avoiding an actual introduction, and she doesn't, in general, trust when that happens. Then again, she's also fairly unsure of that... smile. Paired with the earlier sarcasm, he's not exactly hitting her "be charitable" points. ]

I met someone before, who was courting the princess of Agrabah. His name was Prince Ali. Do you know him?

Yes, actually, I think the name's familiar to me. Sort of tall man, wearing lots of white, traveling on an elephant?

I don't know if he's tall for a human or not, and there was no elephant, but I do remember that he wore white.

He lost track of Abu?

[ She's surprised to hear that. ]

His courting didn't quite go like he expected. I didn't end up being married to anyone by the name of Prince Ali, law or not.

There weren't many of us there, and we didn't really know how to get back to our homes, or even how we got there in the first place.

That doesn't sound like a good situation to be caught up in at all. Did things work out all right? People got back home?

I hope so. I wasn't there for long, and it was like no time had passed at my home. I just woke up like normal.

Why did you choose Aladdin over Prince Ali?

That's... not the strangest thing I've seen. I hope it was the same for everyone else.

[ Aladdin too. She'd rather not lose him in places she can't get him back out of. As far as her question went... ]

Between the two, Aladdin was the more honest.
