Never getting his honor restored
Don't act like putting me anywhere is getting me out of that prison of a city. You wouldn't be doing me any favors; I'd just end up in a different city that's trying to squeeze the last drop of happiness out of me.
It doesn't matter where you put me, anyway—I won't be able to go home either way.

And how is it you older people are always able to find "joy" in simple things? It doesn't work that way for people my age. My brain isn't wired to think "Hey, I should enjoy this cup of tea because I might not wake up tomorrow!"

You sound bitter.

It's not all that bad. Like the others have said - some places let you stay in your world and move on with your life. And, if you end up in someplace different maybe that will be good - you can start over and have a new life.

I already started over and I hate it. I don't want to make a new life in Ba Sing Se or anywhere else. I'm tired of being a refugee. No matter where I go, it's going to be the same. Sure, the imaginary four walls keeping me confined will be different, but I'll still feel like a prisoner.
