Rather Displeased about Plans to go to Mayfield

What's this? You think you can puppet me around? Sorry to say, but I'm the one that pulls the strings around here.

I don't know who you think you are, but the fact that you are even dreaming you can control me is cute.

If you persist in your plans to strip me of my powers and place me in a town where I will be considered nothing more than a common beast, you will pay dearly.

It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when and who. Hmmm? Shall I replace one of your parents? Or perhaps...? No, I shouldn't say, but I imagine you know exactly who I'm thinking of. Giving you false hope and then draining you of every drop of love shall be immensely satisfying.

I will be the last face you gaze upon when you die by my hooves. Mark my words.

It all depends on the value of what you want to get back and putting up enough to match its value. For example, getting your horn for magic back can cost you an eye and a very fond memory.

But if you don't wan to go for that, you'll just have to wait around like everypony else.
magicalrealist: (That's not funny.)

They're the ones in charge. It's their rules and we all have to play by them, which means no magic and no shape shifting for you for at least the first month.

It sucks, but they're the administrators; it's their rules we have to play by.
magicalrealist: (That wasn't even a sentence.)

They're naturally barbaric; they just sugar coat it by saying they normalize everypony who gets stuck there. They'll make non-humans the equivalent of house cats, if they want to.

Honestly...I'll have to get back to you on that. It's possible they might take away your wings as well, but the horn's definitely getting stolen.
magicalrealist: (I like books)

You'll find plenty of co-conspirators, then. Almost everyone there wants to beat up he ones in charge; maybe you should talk to them and form alliances.

And like I said: good luck with assassinating your mun. The barrier dividing the internet from their world is stronger than any spell available.
magicalrealist: (People read this trash?)

I wouldn't be so eager to consider them your army; those types usually keep their own goals in mind all the time.

It's not any simple wall, though: this is the fourth wall, the kind of wall that keeps realities separate from each other.
magicalrealist: (back away slowly)

[personal profile] magicalrealist 2012-05-04 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Have fun with that.

Anything within this reality, maybe. Crossing over to theirs could spell total disaster.
magicalrealist: (I heard you say friendship)

[personal profile] magicalrealist 2012-05-04 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
Worse than anything that could happen to you in Equestria, that's for sure. You could end up as a lab experiment if you get caught. I'm not concerned about your well-being, but you should know the dangers.

This is assuming you make it that far in the first place...which you probably won't. There are characters who live for attacking the fourth wall and even they haven't crossed over.
magicalrealist: (The helping hoof!)

[personal profile] magicalrealist 2012-05-04 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
It's not to say they're doing it wrong, but maybe that there's no right way at all. I mean, look at this.

(Twilight taps on the screen with a hoof.)

It's sturdy. Even if you shatter the glass, something will still keep you from fully crossing over.
magicalrealist: (Wait a minute...)

[personal profile] magicalrealist 2012-05-04 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
And therein lies the complexity of the issue: even when the barrier is broken, it's not broken. It doesn't make sense at all, but that's how it works...the only logic to it is that it can't be crossed. At all.
magicalrealist: (Actually...)

[personal profile] magicalrealist 2012-05-04 11:49 am (UTC)(link)
This isn't a simple hurdle, though; this is a barrier around their entire universe. You can't really jump over that.

(She probably didn't mean literally, Twi...)
magicalrealist: (A beautiful day in the neighborhood~)

[personal profile] magicalrealist 2012-05-04 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
So you just plan on forcing your way through with strength alone?
magicalrealist: (Facehoof)

[personal profile] magicalrealist 2012-05-05 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
Because that all did you a lot of good the last time you attempted an invasion.
