Your heart isn't fine. It's racing, your chest feels a little tight, your breathing is elevated so you're taking in too much oxygen, you probably feel some pressure in your temples that'll become a real headache if you keep going, and you're sweating. A lot.

And there's no way an exhausted worker is as efficient as a well-rested one. This is really basic stuff.

None of those things are remotely true! If I were given a medical examination at this moment, then I would be revealed to be perfectly normal, and I'm not claiming that the levels of efficiency are the same; I'm saying that one efficient man-hour is not greater than three less-than-efficient man-hours. Learn to listen!
