The royal voice test!
How very kind of you to take up my voice, Rikimaru...oh, so you prefer Riki? Very well then.
It would be better for you to get to bed early in preparation for work tomorrow than whittle away your time on the internet, don't you think? You're being given new responsibilities in your new job, so you should take advantage of that while you still can.
...The Royal Canterlot Voice? Why would you ask me about that? It's not something I use anymore; everypony in Equestria can hear me just fine without it.

'Twas already done. [totally not sulking]

I appreciate the offer, but there is naught left to do but salvage the remains of mine pride.
[a moment of indecision, and then she's looking away and muttering under her breath.]

She received some rather untimely encouragement when the idea was first proposed.

I did not know muns could conspire against their muses. That sounds very counterproductive.
no subject
[a bit of a wingshrug. Muns are patently evil and this is an observable and proven fact.] If I had my way, I would not be in a 'game' at all; I would be home with you.
[which reminds her - she wants a hug. Especially after spending all that time as a rather lost-looking filly searching for her big sis. So she takes a step closer and reaches up for a nuzzle.]
no subject
I'm so sorry, Luna; I should've been there to protect you...
no subject
There's a quiet chuckle. She appreciates the sentiment, she really does.] 'Twould be unfair to you, methinks, to have to play foalsitter at all times.
[have a
brattymischievous grin]no subject
Also, she giggles.)
I wouldn't call being able to look after my sister in a dangerous place unfair; I wouldn't call it anything as long as I could be there with you.
no subject
I would love to have you at my side, sister mine. However, I do not particularly relish the idea of Cair Paradisa exerting its control over you.
[i.e. you're not the only protective one here]
no subject
And I am not welcome to the idea of leaving you alone to to the will of that place. We're at an impasse, it seems.
(She says in a reassuring tone while nuzzling your cheek.)
no subject
I am hardly alone. Twilight Sparkle and some of her friends are there, in addition to many other creatures.
[much better than being alone in the moon, in any case]
no subject
I am glad that others from Equestria are there with you, but what truly troubles me is the lack of a Celestia being with you.
no subject
There's a bit of wry smile instead.] I am not completely incompetent, sister.
[seriously:] I do not wish for you to worry.
no subject
I know you're not incompetent; you're capable of great things all on your own. I want to wish the best for you, even if I cannot join you.
no subject
Those ears are definitely drooping a bit, however.]
Thank you. I will need your well wishes; those ponies are a surprising hoofful.

Clever girl)They're certainly an entertaining bunch; draining, but entertaining. Have you been watching over them for long?
no subject
omnomnom]Four months, if that. I am still the most recent arrival from Equestria, so I have found myself under their wing half the time. [so to speak]
Young Spike and Fluttershy have been there for a year. [that might be a note of anxiety in her voice. A year is both extremely long and relatively short, if one were to be trapped in one place.]
no subject
...I should've known about this place sooner.

Forsooth, you might have garnered faster results had it been you, not me, who went to fetch Twilight Sparkle from the library 'fore the oncoming flood could carry her - and her precious books - away.
