I did have another theory though, that I'm sort of a training dummy meant to represent Lord English. Kind of like how Grandma English left Jake all that gear that looks like it belongs on Lord English.

Well things that happened in the first timeline have effects on your timeline. So maybe the fact I was taken by two murdering maniacs in very close intervals has something to do with it.
