Oh, don't sound so surprised, it's a very common trait of every kind, it's what happens when stupid people try to make up their minds, or worse still, uncertain people, which is really the same thing as stupid in the end, isn't it.

If one is always uncertain I suppose it might be considered stupid. However if someone considered themselves certain all the time it would be rather tedious.

I do not believe I ever said I was speaking solely about yourself. I was describing people in general, and I can assure you there are a great many people who can be very certain and very wrong at the same time.

If they're uncertain at all it's the same thing, it means they're not smart enough to be certain, so they're average at best, which, in the end, isn't all that far from stupid.

For most it takes knowledge to be certain, so in that way I can see your point. However it is difficult to have full knowledge of everything no matter how one tries. I suppose for the average person the only thing we can hope for is to keep gaining more knowledge so that there is less chance for uncertainty.
